Life & Work with Queen BOOTH

Today we’d like to introduce you to Queen BOOTH.

Hi Queen, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I started on this path as a very young child. I grew up in a Baptist church in South Dallas named Cornerstone Baptist Church. I always enjoyed church but something was always missing.

There was always this knowing of the story not being complete. I would secretly read texts about things that weren’t taught in church or expanded on some of those ideas.

I used to Astro project out of my body. I also used to know things would happen before they would actually occur. I was the weird child growing up. So I didn’t make very many friends. However, I was the person everyone would come (and still come) to with their personal issues and dark secrets.

I started doing certain things and it would make things happen. I went through several various what I’d call spiritual initiations. I learn how to get deeper into myself to be able to know and understand who God is on in a very deep and personal way.

Which at this time has led me to be an awesome occultist by way of Hoodoo.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
This has not been a smooth road. However, neither has life. One of my major struggles was accepting I was different than most people.

The way I see the world and react to things isn’t most times what the masses would do.

Also because I basically work with the shadow aspect of a person it’s often difficult to make friends. I mean who wants to be friends with a person who can see all the skeletons in the closet? Hahaha.

The loneliness has been difficult, also trying to be accessible to the community at such different times. Online presence is difficult for me. I’m used to people simply dropping by for a cup of tea or plate of food and we discuss their issue and conjure a remedy in that visit.

Trying to reach a community through the internet for something so personal has proven very difficult as well.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am what they call a Spiritual Practioner. To be more specific I am an Occultist with a foundation in Hoodoo. I specialize in shadow work.

So while I can help one get their lover back. Make money fall out of the money tree, and fix an enemy for a person, I’d rather help people perform what we call in the magician world “The Great Work”.

That is the work of self, helping one improve themselves and be the best person that can be. The quiet secret is the Great Work is the only true magic.

Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
Yes, when you need some help or healing know that we Rootworkers are still here. Queen is one of those friendly neighborhood rootworkers that would love to help you.
