Hi Jonesha, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Hello, My name Jonesha Webster. I was born January 11. 1993 in San Antonio, Texas. I moved to a San Angelo Texas when I was 6 years old. I come from a family of artists and musicians. My dad was a big influence on me rapping and my mother was a big influence on me singing. I performed on stage at the age of 4 years singing ” I believe I can fly” by R Kelly. Continuing through high school I performed in talent shows, Freestyle battles and dance step teams. In 2016 living in Austin Texas I created my artist name known as Ms. JoJo I started performing at open mic, opening shows and recording live in studios. Im currently working on my album “Rare ONe” which is expected to be out before the year end. I love God I love my friends and I love my family. My goal is to bring back excellence and prosperity in my city. I believe faith can overcome every fear and I walk in confidence everyday knowing I will succeed .

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I want to first say I am blessed and I am grateful. Life has not been easy but it’s been worth it. I have lost many family members to death. I suffer a lot of things in silence but I believe in the power of prayer. I believe I’m one of the generational curse breakers in my family and that has not been and easy road but I’m still walking it. I dropped out of college in 2017 and I plan to return and finish next spring. When it comes to challenges I walk with power and I feel like my biggest challenge is myself.and I love competing.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am currently in the dietary and food industry. I love cooking. I started cooking at the age of 10. Im known for cooking at family gatherings and also catering for multiple events in the city. I am also Mc for events. I’ve hosted birthday parties, quinces, banquets and radio podcasts interviews. Overall I am proud of myself. I feel set apart because I really started from the bottom I made my first single cover on my own with no experience I paid for my first music video I don’t say this with arrogance but I did it. If nothing happens next I am proud of what happened already.

What makes you happy?
All my life I’ve strive to make others happy just to see them succeed was enough to make me happy. I love to worship and I go to church That makes me happy and it brings me peace. Music makes me happy everyday I listen to music of all genres. Guitars are my favorite instruments I love watching live shows they make me happy.
