Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Miabella Party was established in 2018 when I found myself searching for a Peppa Pig costume for my daughter’s 2nd birthday party. With my daughter being on the Autism spectrum, I wanted to hire someone who could relate to “all children”. I found myself with no luck.

Mother’s Instinct kicked in. I decided to purchase the costume and have a family member dress up. The party was a success and the costume was the highlight of the night. After the party, I thought “What do I do with this?” A friend recommended the idea to “rent” the costume online for parties.
After a few hours online, I received multiple reservations. AND it hit me: there was a big market for this type of business.

Now 3 years later, over 100 costumes: this business has helped me provide for my daughter in ways I was not able to before.

I have the pleasure to own my own business but what’s even better is I get to make kids happy. To see the happiness the costumes bring to their parties, makes it all worth it.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
It has definitely not been easy. The hardest part of this business has being able to find reliable people to work on the weekend and actually enjoy and love doing this type of work.

Miabella Party is a children’s entertainment company specializing in birthday party celebrations. Our parties involve games, characters, performances, lots of dancing and entertainment for all ages. We are known for our partnership with different charitable organizations such as Any baby Can. We are also known for been the first company in San Antonio to do characters drive-by-parade when covid-19 started.

I take pride in our work, our one-of-a-kind costumes, and our fun parties. We love to make every kid’s birthday one to remember.

I am a working mother with an autistic child. This business has helped me provide the resources my daughter needs to improve her daily life. Working with kids is my passion and I get to do this every weekend and I love it.

What makes you happy?
I love that this business gives me the flexibility to spend time with my daughter, take her to therapy but also work to make a living. I also get the opportunity to make kids’ day better by providing them with a memorable experience. Thanks to this business, I’ve been able to build long term relationships with my clients and seeing their children grow.
