Daily Inspiration: Meet Abigail Luna

Today we’d like to introduce you to Abigail Luna.

Hi Abigail, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
While growing up, as a hobby, my mom and I would make different crafts together. As the years have progressed, my passion for creative arts has grown. From photography, bows, and digital arts, to custom designs, there isn’t anything I can’t make once I try.

The feeling I get when I work on a new project is amazing! Recently, I decided to turn my passion for creating custom things, into a business. The joy someone has once you bring their beautiful ideas to life is transcendent. I love getting to share my love of making something out of nothing.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has not always been a smooth road, mainly because of myself. I used to doubt my abilities often and was scared to put myself out there.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I take photographs, edit photos, and make digital drawings and custom designs to put on various items. Right now I am known mostly for shirts, but expanding to include photography, digital graphics, and sewing clothes.

I am most proud of my ability to make things come to life with just a few items and a vision. The thing that sets me apart from other people is the multiple media art outlets I use.

Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
I live back in Austin now, but lived in San Antonio for a few years prior and the BEST thing is that there is ALWAYS something to do! There is never a dull moment and it is so rich in culture!

My least favorite would be how much traffic there is and depending on the time of day, getting from one side to the other is an hour task!
