Today we’d like to introduce you to Noah Dupree
Hi Noah, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I grew up in the real estate industry as a 4th generation agent, and grew my business networking in coffee shops getting to know all of the regular customers. I grew an appreciation for the community that coffee creates, and grew a greater appreciation for coffee itself when relocating to Austin in 2019. My wife and I had a coffee cart at our wedding in 2022, which was a major hit with our guests. Rather than jumping into expensive build outs and high overhead of brick and mortar, we started planning the launch of our own coffee cart. Our biggest focus today is fostering community though our mobile cart and crafting an experience that people will talk about forever.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
We took off much faster than we anticipated, so the biggest struggle in the beginning was figuring out how to juggle a full time job while building our own business along side that. I’m very grateful to be in a position that I could step away from my full time job to shift all of my focus to building Reunion Coffee. I feel like I’m in my element and living out a dream now.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
We are an event experience that creates memories through our coffee and customer service. I think one of the biggest things that sets us apart is us. I love to get to know the guests we serve on a personal level as we craft their drinks. I think a lot of people can get so caught up in the rush of a long line, yet we’ve created a flow that works for us to continue delivering a 5 star experience for the guests.
We specialize in bringing the coffee shop directly to your event, crafting delicious espresso based drinks! We have a couple additional add ons that elevate the experience a little bit more, such as custom branding our cart, cups, and even print logos/designs on top of the drinks!
Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
I searched online to find other coffee cart owners who had a similar vision as I did for Reunion Coffee and tried to get as close with them as possible. A large part of our start-up expenses were directed toward a consulting program that gave us 6 months of guidance, and access to a community of about 30 other coffee cart operators. While it had a hefty price, it was priceless at the end of the day. My biggest piece of advice would be to truly think about your 3-5 year vision, and find someone else who has already been there for you to model after.
