Today we’d like to introduce you to Claudia Walton
Hi Claudia, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
As a proud Latina with strong Christian, family values and am passionate in all I do. Strong willed and honest to all.
Born in Mexico, at the young age of five my parents brought the family to San Antonio Tx in search for a better life. I learned from my parents that hard work pays off no matter the job.
The woman I am today is because of the values and faith that were instilled in me as I have instilled in my two sons.
My late husband, pushed me out of my comfort zone, he was my biggest supporter. My original plan was to build children’s furniture. But in 2017 I lost Cleo, to illness, my loss was enormous. Seven years later, thru him, I have learned that all I can do is look forward and keep working on my dreams.
I stayed busy as I picked up used furniture from estate sales to refinish and sell. I enjoyed it so much that I became a member of several social media groups to expand my knowledge and make connections..
In 2018 I created my business Rebranded Furniture by Claudia LLC, started attending professional cabinet refinishing classes in Pennsylvania, California and Houston. The knowledge gained has been valuable. In 2022 I became a member of the PCA Painting Contractors Association, and several cabinet expert refinishing groups. Attending annual classes as part of my professional continuing education is informative, creative and fun. These classes also introduce me to new products and expand my painting techniques.
I believe that investing in one self is very important, as my goal is to set myself apart from the rest, while giving my customer’s exceptional service. I take pride in my work and I give my clients quality premium workmanship, one kitchen at at time, because I the kitchen is the heart of the home.
For several years I worked solo in the service of furniture and cabinet refinishing projects. As my business has grown I am blessed to have two awesome, phenomenal females on my team. We are proud to serve San Antonio Texas and surrounding areas. I am looking at expanding my business, while giving my customer’s Premium service.
I am Blessed to have my mother “Maria”, and am a proud mother of two sons, grandmother of six and great grandmother of two and another on the way.
I love spending time with my family when possible as every one is busy with work. Another thing is that I love traveling and the experience of each trip. Alaska, Eastern Seaboard trip up to Prince Edward Island Canada, Grand Canyon twice (in a raft), Costa Rica, Panama and Europe are a few places visited.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
My biggest struggle was grief. It was important to take the time I needed for myself, to feel it live it and get back up. While grief dose subside, cherished memories are held in my heart. I am resilient and have been taking small steps. The small steps is what got me to where I am today.

I am the the owner and creator of Rebranded Furniture by Claudia LLC & Premium Cabinet Refinishing.
My customers talk directly to me.
Although there are many who refinish Cabinets, I set myself apart from the rest, with the products I use. Kitchen and Bathrooms cabinets will go thru an enormous amount of use and handling. Paint from the store shelf or Chalk paint are not used by my company because they are not designed for long lasting durability required for kitchen and bathroom cabinets. While they’re good for other projects shelf paint will not last for my customer’s cabinets, this is my personal opinion. I only use Industrial Wood Coating products, a Renner Industrial European product made in Italy, durable long lasting, mildew resistant scratch resistant and smooth beautiful finish. This product is made specifically for cabinets.
Also I use 2K catalyst for an added extreme durability. Not many cabinet refinishers use this product.
A high-end paint sprayer, designed to spray cabinets and furniture, is used.
I provide sample boards at my consultations so that my clients can touch and see the quality finish I provide.
As a proud member of PCA Painting Contractors Association and several cabinet expert refinishing groups. I attend annual classes as part of my professional continuing education and to be in the know of new products and techniques.
I take pride in my work and I give my clients quality premium workmanship, work that will last for many years to come.
