Today we’d like to introduce you to Saren Robles
Hi Saren, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I am from a small town outside of San Antonio. Growing up I always knew I wanted to be an entrepreneur and be my own boss. I started college in 2016 at Texas A&M University. I went there for a couple of years and then transferred to Texas A&M San Antonio to be closer to home. I had one semester left until I could graduated, but just felt like this wasn’t for me and what I should be doing.
In 2020 I made a big decision to open up a nutrition shop in Floresville. The shop is called FTX Nutrition. Once I opened it, it felt like exactly what I should be doing, working for myself, helping others and being healthy.
After a few years of running the shop, I handed over the keys to one of our girls to manage it, so I could focus on my social media platforms.
It has been about a year since I have only focused on my social media and it has given me so many opportunities. I have been able to travel, have more freedom and I got the opportunity to walk in the New York Fashion Week!
I am thankful for everything I have been able to accomplish so far and can’t wait to keep going!
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
One of the struggles I had was the decision to not finish college and get a degree. I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to succeed without a college degree.
Another big struggle was that in September of 2020, a little after me opening the shop, my brother passed away. It was a really difficult time because it was so unexpected. Thankfully the whole community was very understanding and compassionate.
It still is a challenge in everyday life, but I know I have to keep going to make him proud.

I think just my attitude towards life and work ethic sets me apart from others. It has also brought good people around me and working for me because I look for people who are like me and would give the same customers service I would.
