Today we’d like to introduce you to Eduardo Delacruz
Hi Eduardo, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I was born and raised in San Antonio Texas. I attended art school at Corpus Christi A&M and received my master’s degree from The University of Connecticut. I teach art in The Harlandale Independent School District. I have been making art all my life. Painting, sketching, charcoal drawing, ceramic steins, playing music, cooking, writing, lego, and pinhole photography.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I believe the biggest obstacle is you not believing in yourself. Once you finally believe in yourself, you can do anything.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I want people to walk and stand in front of my artwork. I want them to feel the beautiful colors shine on them like the sun. I want people to get swept away by the fast strokes of the artwork I make everyday objects: trees, flowers, toys, food and people into monumental works of art. I want people to appreciate the wonderful life we have.
