Today we’d like to introduce you to Lee Valentine
Hi Lee , it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My name is Rudy Lee Valadez aka Lee Valentine. I was born in Pahokee, Florida on Feb.14th, 1990 and I’m currently based in San Antonio, Texas, I’ve been doing music all my life really but professionally 3yrs. I’ve managed to climb the ladder of success one step at a time. My music career took a turning point in 2021 when I released “Loco Por Ti” feat. Dj Kane de los Kumbia Kingz. This record took me to new heights. Being independent can be tough but it’s all about learning to play your cards. In 2022, I followed it up with “Ojos De Oro” feat. Zig Zag of NB Ridaz, which also boosted my music career. I don’t believe there’s a secret way to success, you just got to stay consistent and believe in yourself! I always give my music 110%. Every single time. In 2023, I released “Puro Pinche Party” with Tarasco Tropical. This record also did really well! Big shout out to Geo and Principe Q for making it happen! I think we created a bomb with this one lol.. every time I perform it the people go crazy! Now in 2024 I released “Soltera” feat. Alize Nino. Another amazing record! The music video to this one will be out real soon! I like to focus on my music one project at a time. I don’t care if it takes me 6 months or 1 year to drop a record, as long as we drop it correctly. I’ve been blessed to work with some amazing artist in the music industry this far and I can’t wait to see what the future holds! I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Struggles have always been managing life and music at the same time. No one knows what happens behind closed doors, they just see the music, music videos and shows. They don’t see what happened that day before the show or how much sweat and tears it took to produce a new record. But like anything else we keep swimming and we don’t let nothing hold us back. I’ve always been a dream chaser and I always find a way to make it happen! #NoExcuses
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I consider myself a Latin Artist who specializes in Reggaeton and Cumbia. That’s what I’m most known for, although I do it all when it comes to music. I would say I’m most proud of my work ethic. We live in a generation where people get easily discouraged because they’re scared of the unknown. Not me, I love knocking on different doors and see who answers. Like I said before, I’m a dream chaser, nothing or no one will stand in my way. I’m not scared to no for an answer, I just keep it moving. I think that’s what’s made me so successful in the music industry, my staying positive, keep it moving attitude that I was born with. I actually think that also answers your next question lol my attitude separates me from other artists. I’m not easily discouraged like many others and I grind hard! I ALWAYS FIND A WAY! #DreamChaser
How do you think about luck?
Luck for me comes and goes. I feel like it usually comes at the perfect time when I need it most though. But I’ve never relied on “luck”. I rely on myself to make things happen. It’s super rare I get lucky lol but when it happens, it happens. I take it in and appreciate every part of it. Everything happens how and when its supposed to happen.
