Today we’d like to introduce you to Brianna Acevedo. They and their team shared their story with us below:
Einstein K9, founded in 2018 by Brianna, was born out of a recognition of the need for specialized dog training in the San Antonio community. Each dog and family has a unique story and requires tailored training to meet their specific needs. As Brianna began to connect and build relationships, Einstein K9 started to flourish. Today, we proudly offer our services in the San Antonio, Austin, and Dallas areas. Our success is a testament to the dedication and talent of our team of trainers, who are committed to providing the best services in Texas.
Brianna Acevedo graduated 2014 from Texas A&M University with a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science. She taught college introductory, intermediate, and advanced level K9 obedience courses. While at Texas A&M, she volunteered to train service dogs to be placed with disabled individuals. Brianna has employment experience as a lead trainer working with various K9s, including pets, therapy dogs, service dogs, narcotic detection dogs, bomb detection dogs, and patrol dogs. Brianna has titled dogs in Mondioring, Protection Sports Association, and AKC Nosework. Even today, Brianna continues to devote her time and skills to K9 handling. As a FEMA K9 handler, she trains her personal dogs to assist in locating missing persons and deploys on missions across the country. Her passion for the sport of Mondioring is evident in her competitive spirit, and she recently had the honor of representing the United States at the FMBB World Championship.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Leadership plays a vital role in running your own small business! Brianna has recently grown to have 10+ additional trainers working with clients through the help of Einstein K9! Founder Brianna Acevedo and our Director of Operations Courtney have spent 1-2 years working hard to create a new website, social media, and brand for Einstein K9! Learning the best ways to help make intake, scheduling, and client communication the easiest for our trainers and clients as we grow!

At Einstein K9, dogs are family! Einstein K9 offers small-scale board and train programs in Austin, San Antonio, and Dallas, Texas, where pups can learn with our expert trainers! This program can benefit those whose lifestyle or location makes them unable to fit the bulk of training into a busy schedule. Einstein K9 will only take on a limited number of board and train clients to ensure they receive the same attention, care, and lifestyle as living at home with their owners. All clients live at home with our trainers and are treated with equal care as their dogs!
Einstein K9 offers in-home private training lessons for those who prefer a more one-on-one environment. Private dog training lessons work best for owners who have time each week to devote to training homework from your trainer. The sessions are typically one hour long, and we recommend scheduling them weekly to ensure the best training results. Einstein K9’s in-home dog boarding service ensures your pup feels comfortable and relaxed! Einstein differs from your traditional dog boarding kennel and offers a boarding service where your dog lives in-home with one of our trainers.
