Hi Majesta, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. Before we get into specifics, let’s briefly walk you through how you got to where you are today.
I was in the United States Navy for 10 years and wanted a career change. I finished my Master’s in Business Administration and tried working for different companies, but it didn’t feel right. I knew working for myself was the only way to be truly happy. I have always had a passion for lashes and waxing and figured I could start there, but I knew I needed a license, so I applied to an esthetics course, which opened my eyes to the world of aesthetics! I developed a passion for skincare and knew I wanted to try and go solo after completing my program, so I started slowly gathering all my materials. After graduation, I rented the suite, and I am now near the Pearl. I now offer skincare, lashes, waxing, and brow services and hope to one day expand. I still have a lot of work to do, and the learning will be lifelong, but I’ve been loving every second of it!
It wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Starting my small business independently has been challenging, but my family and friends have supported me! People don’t tell you that you must learn the dos and don’ts of business management by trial and error most of the time, and you also wear many different hats. Social Media was my biggest challenge because I had never been on it before and had to push myself out of my comfort zone to create more engaging content to attract clients. It’s been a journey, and I’m still learning every day!

I specialize in skincare, brows, and waxing. My goal is to be a one-stop shop for ladies on the go, providing luxurious services that are relaxing and results-driven!
If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
My passion and dedication to providing high-quality service will be the most important factor in my business’s success. Clients don’t return to you just because you did a good job; they return because of how they felt. If I can go the extra mile to make my clients feel comfortable, relaxed, and pampered, they’ll return for years.
