My photography journey started with my passion for hiking. Being out in nature, surrounded by the tranquil scenes and the incredible wildlife, I felt compelled to capture those moments. My camera became my tool to preserve the fleeting beauty of birds and other animals I encountered on the San Antonio trails. To this day, nature photography is a way to connect with the world around me. The transition to boudoir photography happened during a photography group meeting. Until then, my experience was primarily with nature, so photographing people, especially in such an intimate setting as a boudoir, was entirely new. I remember feeling nervous but also excited about this new challenge. Surprisingly, the session went incredibly well, and the positive feedback I received was overwhelming. I began to explore and delve deeper into this realm of photography, joining more group meets and refining my skills. Eventually, my passion led me to establish my studio, a creative, safe space where I collaborate with clients to bring their unique and exciting boudoir ideas to life. It’s a place where we celebrate individuality, confidence, and the beauty inherent in each person. My journey from capturing nature’s beauty to people’s beauty in a boudoir has been incredibly fulfilling. It’s taught me that, in the serenity of nature or the vulnerability of a boudoir session, there’s an undeniable beauty in life’s raw, unfiltered moments.
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
In many ways, my journey in photography has been smooth, with only a few bumps along the way. One of the initial challenges I faced was finding a suitable studio space. It was crucial to find a place that offered the right ambiance and privacy essential for boudoir photography and felt welcoming and comfortable for my clients. Creating an environment where people could feel comfortable expressing themselves was vital. Another challenge has been navigating the intricacies of advertising my business on social media. Given the intimate and personal nature of boudoir photography, it’s a delicate balance to follow strict guidelines on social platforms and showcase my work while respecting the privacy and comfort of my clients. Social media is a powerful tool, but using it effectively in this genre of photography requires tact and sensitivity.

At the heart of my work is boudoir photography. What I specialize in and am known for is the versatility and depth of the concepts I bring to life through my lens. In addition, my portfolio includes bridal boudoir photography, which has become a cherished choice for many brides seeking to capture their beauty and excitement in the days leading up to their wedding. These sessions are special since they are treasured memories that testify to love and anticipation. What I’m most proud of, and what brings me immense satisfaction, is the consistent feedback from my clients about how comfortable and safe they feel during our sessions. Creating an environment where clients can freely express themselves without reservations is essential in boudoir photography.
