Hi Rina, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, let’s briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
Hello my name is Rina Brown and this is my story about how I started my business as a bird breeder and pet shop owner as young girl I was fascinated with animals of all kinds, the house that we grew up in my father had all kinds of exotic animals and birds it was fascinating to see and experiencing living there as a child it was never boring in my house with exotic animals it was like a dream that I never wanted to wake up from unfortunately as time went by we experienced a major flood that destroyed the town that I grew up from and I was forced to move to the US to live with my family in California and that’s when I went to my Tia house for the very first time and it felt like I never left home, I was so amazed by the collection of birds she had I felt like I was in heaven all over again as time went by I enjoyed interacting with different kinds of birds my Tia had I was so determined that one day I would own my own moving on in life I meet my husband and moved to Texas where I fellin love all over again when my husband surprised me and gave me the opportunity to reliving my childhood of owning my very own parakeets I was in paradise having the time of my life with my beloved parakeets unfortunately they produced and I had to find a way to downsize my aviary not knowing what to do I prayed over it and the Lord gave me a vision to take my birds to the flea market so I did All I can say was wow the experience I had that day was terrific I sold out everything the customers I had were encouraging me to come back with more feeling excited about my experience inspired me to do something about it and plus and help me to reduce my aviary at home and that when parakeet world pet shops with born wasting no time I researched what it would take to have a license pet shop.
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Obstacle and challenge: To be honest with you, keeping up with the demands and the competition is always a challenge between maintaining your store and also making sure all of your Avery is clean and healthy so the people can get the best quality of life span of their pets it’s challenging at times, but my passion that I have pushes me on because of the love that I have for my babies I look at it as the childhood dream of the little girl wanting to have the very own bird so I take a little bit of that and love and dedication of what I do to keep myself pushing forward and make someone smile expressing my ministry of happiness and compassion to every pet being sold from parakeet world pet shop.
