From a very young age, I was captivated by the magic of film. This passion manifested in numerous small projects throughout my childhood, shaping the person I would eventually become. However, as I entered my early 20s, my focus shifted to earning a living. Surprisingly, I found a sense of satisfaction in this new journey.
In 2014, a significant event changed my life. A devastating hailstorm had struck San Antonio, prompting my sister and her husband, who owned a roofing company, to respond. Intrigued by the sales aspect of their business, I decided to give it a shot. This decision marked a pivotal point in my life.
By 2016, I had ascended to being one of their top salesmen. Much of this success was driven by the innovative marketing strategies I adopted and refined. This was a clear testament to the power of creativity and out-of-the-box thinking.
Emboldened by this success, I committed in 2017 to dive deep into the marketing and design industry while reigniting my passion for creation. In the subsequent year, I channeled this commitment and passion into the inception of Helix Media LLC. My vision was to build a company that delivers unparalleled design, content, and marketing services for businesses across all industries.
Fast forward to the present day, Helix Media LLC has experienced rapid growth. We’ve reached a stage where we seek to expand our team with talented designers and marketing professionals. Our clients, including “Bar 1919”, have expressed tremendous satisfaction with our services, and their continual recommendations have become a testament to our commitment to excellence. I am filled with anticipation and excitement as I look toward the future. The upcoming months and years promise continual growth and new opportunities. My journey from a film-obsessed child to the founder of a thriving media company has been enriching, and I can’t wait to see where the next chapter takes us.
We all face challenges, but would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The journey toward building Helix Media LLC has been both challenging and rewarding. Like any ambitious endeavor, it had its fair share of struggles and obstacles.
One of the most significant challenges I faced was the tendency to take on too much. As a passionate entrepreneur, I often found myself juggling various tasks, which would inevitably lead to periods of intense stress. This was a tough lesson in understanding my limits and the importance of delegating responsibilities.
Furthermore, as a perfectionist, I initially found it difficult to entrust tasks to others. The fear of compromising on the quality of work often held me back from expanding our team. However, over time, I have learned to acknowledge the talents of others and embrace the idea that a diverse team can contribute to creating a better output than one person alone. Moving onto the business side of things was an entirely new realm for me. I had to learn the ropes of running a business, which involved everything from management to finance. There were moments of uncertainty and doubt, but these challenges only enhanced my knowledge and understanding of business operations.
Finally, maintaining a high-quality standard for our clients often meant that things progressed slower than I would have liked. This was a struggle between wanting to grow quickly and ensuring we delivered the best possible service to our clients. Over time, I came to understand that quality should never be compromised for speed, and this commitment to excellence is something that our clients have come to value.
While the road to where we are now was not always smooth, each struggle was a lesson that helped shape Helix Media LLC into its current company. These experiences have strengthened our resolve and made us more equipped to navigate the challenges that lie ahead.

Do you have any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
I’m the kind of guy who always looks forward, not back. I’m pretty much hooked on dreaming about what’s next. But if you ask me about a childhood memory that sticks out, it’s all about one arcade. There was this cool place called ‘Diversions.’ It was the spot to be, not just because of the games. Sure, I could take Ten bucks and stretch it out for hours, jumping from one game to another, trying to beat high scores. But it wasn’t just about that. It was about hanging out with friends and our good times there. It was fun, simple as that. It’s also where I met my fiancé. We’re about to hit our 16th anniversary, and remarkably, it all started at an arcade. Diversions may have closed down, but the memories didn’t.
