CF Consulting & Marketing was created from Michelle’s diverse background. The focus of CF Consulting & Marketing is to help the community grow, fill the business consulting and marketing gaps for all businesses, and create solid relationships within Central Texas, especially in the Houston/Galveston area. Michelle has 10 years of experience in marketing, starting as an intern in the hospitality industry. She not only worked her way up to marketing director, working her way through multiple industries and large corporate companies, but she also has experience as a business consultant helping companies of many sizes grow and succeed. Branding is her specialty, but she is highly experienced in multiple forms of marketing and website design, as well as photography, Adobe Creative Cloud, Photoshop, Lightroom, and much more!
Alright, let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what challenges have you had to overcome?
Life as an entrepreneur is tough. It takes a lot of determination, focus, and ambition. Because of the state that our economy is in, money is tight. Not only do we as individuals and families have to deal with the increased pricing on everything, making the cost of living take up our entire paychecks, but businesses are facing the same struggles. Despite many companies needing the help of a business consultant and marketer, they need help to afford the service. This is why CF Consulting & Marketing has switched gears and primarily focuses on education—providing the training needed to do marketing on your own or in-house, providing the business coaching virtually, and allowing the client to learn on their own time.

CF Consulting & Marketing specializes in business consulting and marketing. My company offers everything from the reconstruction of processes and procedures, marketing, website design, business development and organization, training staff in multiple business areas, content writing, and social media content creation and management. We devise systems and strategies for business consulting to help you define and meet your diverse goals. We offer mentorship to help reframe how you think about your business and help provide the tools to achieve measurable success.

We also provide custom website designs. Every design we do is completely custom, meaning no templates, and we build your entire website from scratch. Once your website is complete, we can train your staff on website management if you want to keep it in-house, or we can manage your website.
And we are offering marketing and business management educational courses soon! This allows you to receive the education and tools you need to do this independently without the fees of one-on-one business consulting. This program is excellent for those who want to keep things in-house and grow their company.
The crisis has affected us all in different ways. How has it affected you, and any important lessons or epiphanies you can share with us?
If Covid-19 taught us anything, the economy has evolved, and the days of 9 to 5 office jobs are gone. I have found that teams are more productive when you provide more flexibility and focus on a healthy work-life balance. The freedom of being remote lets people get things done in their most productive times instead of forcing them to be productive at a particular time.
Everyone is different, and we all have our time schedules. Our lives are other, our brain chemistry is different, and our personalities are different. As individuals, we weren’t meant to conform to the same schedule or way of thinking and doing. For example, I am most productive between 8:00 am to 2:00 pm and then again between 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Allow your night owls to work during their most productive time or your early risers to work during their most productive time. You will have more dedicated employees, promising and innovative work, and a better culture amongst your employees and clients. Not to mention, clients are now in all different time zones.
As humans, we weren’t meant to live and function within a 9 to 5 schedule. This is just what society has forced us to do, but now slowly but surely, we are returning to our natural states. And yes, you can have the same, if not better, work culture working remotely.
