Exploring Life & Business with Claudia Fuentes

Today we’d like to introduce you to Claudia Fuentes.

Hi Claudia, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
I started my real estate career in August 2021. I was working as a full-time speech-language pathologist at a school district in San Antonio. I decided to jump into the real estate career full-time in June of 2022. From August 2021- June 2022, I was working on my real estate business after work, on the weekends, and on holidays.

I was fortunate to have clients who were patient with me as I embarked on this new journey. I am thankful for my husband and family who supported me with this new change in my life. It has been rewarding because I am learning so much from my market center and I can be a trusted advisor for my clients.

In my free time, I have a wine blog on Instagram called “@claudwine.” I love learning about wine, sipping wine with friends, and sharing a glimpse of my life on Instagram. I incorporate wine, fashion, and daily lifestyle. I was introduced to wine by my dad. I enjoy the company of my dad and we love talking and drinking wine together.

He loves California red wines and now I tend to gravitate towards that type of region when choosing wine. It has been a fun adventure expanding my knowledge and having fun with wine.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Starting off as a dual career real estate agent had its challenges. I was new to the industry so I had so much more to learn. It was difficult juggling two careers that take a full-time mentality. I worked late hours, on weekends, and anytime I had time off from my full-time job to work on my real estate career. One struggle I faced was a client who told me it was best to have a full-time realtor who had more time for their needs.

For the wine blog, the challenge is to post consistently and post content that the viewers want to see. I would get discouraged when I would compare myself to other bloggers. Ultimately, I knew people want to see my content and support me because they love me. I am happy to share my creativity with the world.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Keller Williams Realty?
I am a real estate agent with Keller Williams Realty. I help people sell, buy, or invest in residential homes. I speak Spanish and English. I love serving and helping others so that they can find what they are looking for.

My passion is to be in service and educate my clients in the home buying or selling process. I build relationships with people and my clients. I believe that my client’s needs come first.
