Meet Liz Mendez of 210 Nail Bby

Today we’d like to introduce you to Liz Mendez.

Hi Liz, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
Growing up, I’ve always been artistic and had a love for doing my own nails.

I would also paint and make stickers and prints of my artwork. After being in customer service for 6 years I finally decided to quit and pursue going to school to be a nail tech. 7 months later going to school and working part-time I finally graduated and got my license as soon as I could.

Now I’m able to do what I love as a career. I specialize in gel x sets and hand-painted artwork. My favorite thing about being a nail tech is my clients. I love being able to make a connection with them and making their nails pretty at the same time. I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Nothing worth getting is easy so I definitely had some bumps in the road. With 2 boys, work, school, and a household to take care of it was a wild time.

But I knew if I could just finish school and push through things would get easier. Everything is hard and everyone is tired even when I wanted to give up I didn’t. I’m so glad because it’s gotten me where I’m at today.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about 210 Nail Bby?
210 nail bby is a safe space for everyone to come and get pampered and have a great time doing it. Wethers it’s a gel manicure or a whole gel x set with nail art; gems & glitter I can definitely make it happen.

I specialize in hand-painted art and love adding glitter to everything. My space is definitely pink & glitter themed with a y2k/the 90s feel. My goal is to always make sure my client loves their nails and feel good about themselves leaving my chair.
