Today we’d like to introduce you to Katrin Wilking and André Gonçalves. Them and their team share their story with us below:
André & Katrin are performers and recording artists, eager to perform at any event.
High-energy, entertaining shows were enjoyed by crowds all over Europe from venues such as small cafes, private parties, as well as packed concert halls. Their musical journey started individually a while ago.
André was born in São Paulo, Brazil and attended the Conservatory Carlos de Campos of Tatuí, SP. He has worked with various musicians and bands, including military bands.
He has opened for A-List artists such as Daughtry, Lieutenant Dan Band, Kid Rock, and Zach Brown Band, among others. André has delivered world-class performances for Presidents and World Leaders. He shared the stage with musicians in Brazil, Europe, Africa, and the United States.
Katrin started her journey at a very young age playing with local big bands and setting herself apart in the German music scene. She performed in various bands until starting her solo career. Katrin is academically trained vocalist and saxophonist from the Musikschule Kaiserslautern and Kusel in Germany.
Since 2016 she has worked with U.S. military musicians in Germany and Europe. Her shows extended all over Europe in France, Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, and Austria to name a few. Power and finesse, her delivery transcends all genres, with a touch of jazz, funk, soul, and world music.
André & Katrin together have performed for over 4 years and in several countries in Europe, as well as several states in the USA. They moved to San Antonio, TX in April 2022 and they are working on two new CDs.
André and Katrin are also available for requests, delivering high-end production and world-class performances.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Music and arts have been steadily devalued at the local level due to the dominance of record labels in the video and airwaves, on and offline pushing their content and artists of interest.
This makes it difficult to any incoming artists to find their place in a crowded market and dilutes the importance of music quality and values production. The challenge is to cut through the noise and establish the presence, and still deliver high-quality products that take time and investment.
We all know that humanity is attracted to the way things look, sound, and feel in almost that order generally. It is our role to navigate these parameters and present our work, not losing our musical integrity in the process.

We are professional musicians, recording and performing artists.
We are multi-instrumentalists, specifically, André is able to play bass, guitar, drums, and piano, sometimes all at the same time. Katrin plays alto and tenor saxophone, as well as she is a trained singer.
The skillset and expertise we offer can easily do what many times requires an entire band to do.
Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
Our goal is to release our work, build a brand and continue to make high-quality products to develop a strong presence and following, and expand market reach to different states and countries.
