Meet Tara Nicole

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tara Nicole.

Hi Tara, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I’m a 15-year-old content creator, dancer, actress, model, and music + fashion manager based in Austin, TX!

As for content creation, if you know me you know that I am almost always taking pictures & videos of anything and everything I do in my days. I always love to document everything I do by taking pictures & videos to look back at all the beautiful memories I’ve made in an aesthetically pleasing format.

I decided to take this a step further and start uploading daily content to my Instagram stories and also as feed posts! I see Instagram as a digital scrapbook where I can share my favorite moments experienced, and also as a way to express my genuine self.

My passion for dance fully came to light when I was just a toddler! My family took notice of me always dancing along every week when a new episode of Dancing With The Stars would air. Dancing With The Stars was my absolute favorite show and I would always be so excited to watch a new episode air.

My mom noticed my passion for dance blooming and decided to enroll me in dance classes which I immediately loved! Since then I have been continuing to explore this art and develop my experiences with it. I hope in the upcoming years to continue on with my passion for dance and continue my evolving growth.

I quickly realized acting and modeling were both passions of mine when a production company came into town offering auditions and training/classes. I enrolled with this company and realized my passion for acting and modeling was beginning to bloom.

I gained so much knowledge and training from these classes and also had so much fun doing so! I was invited and traveled to Los Angeles to further my training and gain exposure to many LA-based agencies in which I am so thankful for this opportunity. I got signed to an agency and began auditioning for a variety of commercials, films, and modeling castings. I had/am having a blast getting to experience and live out my dreams.

The management aspect of my story kind of naturally just came to me. I always love to support and promote up-and-coming independent artists and creators because I see so much potential and talent that is being built up which makes me so genuinely excited for them!

My friends have mentioned to me a few times that I would be a great manager or agent for artists, creators, etc. One of my best friends, Julian had told me one day that he was going to start making and releasing music which I was obviously so happy for him! As he was telling me of his plans he had asked me to be his manager and I was definitely down for the job.

Marketing and coming up with creative promotional plans might seem boring or a lot of work for some but I have such a strong passion and love for this type of “work”. I’m also going to be the public relations manager of an upcoming fashion line as well as a new up-and-coming alternative artist, “Second Hand Highs!”

As I’m only 15 and a rising sophomore in high school I plan to attend and graduate college (which of course I’m not set on a specific college but I have a few I’m interested in including The University of Texas at Austin, Stanford University and University of Southern California).

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
I have thankfully not had many major obstacles or challenges to overcome.

Although an obstacle that did occur at one point was when I was receiving jealous stemmed comments from people. As someone who always looks for the upside of any situation I just naturally moved on with my life and didn’t take much thought into the situation.

I remembered that there will always be people along the journey who will choose to disrupt. I send nothing but good uplifting energy to them!

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a 15-year-old content creator, dancer, actress, model, and music + fashion manager! My content creation consists of original content based on lifestyle, fashion, dance, music, and much more! I share all of my original content on my Instagram & TikTok accounts.

My passion for dance fully bloomed when I was just a toddler! Since then I have continued to express myself through this beautiful art for over 12 years now.

A few notable awards that I am most proud of and have earned/won at various dance competitions include 1st place national champion x2 in my category and judge’s choice awards: Broadway Bound x2, Quality Of A Star, Personality Plus, Ray Of Sunshine & Breath Of Fresh Air. I’m beyond thankful to be able to truly express myself through dance.

Acting is another passion of mine in which I always love connecting and collaborating with others to create. I am most proud of my appearances in CVS & Toyota commercials. These opportunities guided me to embrace my true self since commercial acting is based on the art of embodying the genuine authentic you.

Modeling has taught and brought me poise and self-esteem/confidence. I have been both a print and runway model in the industry. I am so thankful and proud to have been a print and commercial model for Toyota. I am also beyond grateful and proud to have been a Macy’s runway model.

Promoting and supporting creators of any art form has always been a passion of mine. I currently manage one of my best friends “Julian”, who recently dropped a song titled “Selfish” and he is also preparing to release his debut ep soon! I will also be managing the public relations of an upcoming fashion line as well as a new up-and-coming alternative artist, “Second Hand Highs”.

I have also worked with breakthrough artists, 24kGoldn and Tai Verdes to generate a streaming party for a remix of Tai’s hit single “A-O-K” featuring 24kGoldn. As I’m only 15 years old, I will definitely be continuing to evolve and develop within all these creative outlets!!

Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
Welcome optimism into your life! I cannot stress this piece of advice enough to anybody!!

If you know me you know that optimism is one of my main, if not the main, character trait that can be used to describe my personality. I find myself as someone who looks on the bright side of negative situations almost all the time. I see the future from a positive perspective.

Optimism is not an emotion and is not the equivalent to happiness, it is a choice like all other things in life. Anyone has the choice to choose and welcome optimism into their daily life, therefore I am always welcoming optimism into my life.

Trust what your life has in store for you. To trust life in itself is to accept any event that comes across your path and to stay genuine to yourself. Pave your own path in life.

It’s your own life in which you have complete control and power over what you choose to do every day. You can achieve anything you want as long as you remain grounded, stay on top of your responsibilities, have an optimistic attitude, and keep working on whatever it is that you want to achieve.

These pieces of advice are the key to achieving any of your dreams and have been guiding me along my destined pathway. Welcome optimism, trust in yourself and work hard to make your dreams become a reality. Anything is possible in this crazy world! Literally anything!
