Today we’d like to introduce you to Bobby Mickler.
Hi Bobby, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I’m a native San Antonian, graduated from Texas Tech with a degree in Landscape Architecture. I have worked for over 20 years in the industry and started my own business, Site Works Texas, 5 years ago. I enjoy creating, but mostly working all phases from concepts and designs through to completed projects with happy customers!
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
We have grown significantly every year even through COVID and the crazy freeze in 2021. In order to continue serving our customers and their needs, we ran a De-icing program. We were able to keep relevant, and help our customers through that difficult freeze time.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Site Works Texas?
We are a full service landscape company. We design, build, and maintain both commercial and residential properties. We are completely focused on our customers. Customer service is our forte! We function like a boutique business, but in reality, are much larger with extensive capabilities.
Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
The work we do is outdoors. So if anything, the COVID-19 crisis was good for our business because people wanted to have nice outdoor spaces to gather in and enjoy while they were at home. Construction continued and our commercial business did not slow down. Essentially we were considered essential. And that was good
