Hi Sierra, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Hi! I’m Sierra Noelle and I am the PROUD owner and CEO of Over the Moon & Under the Sun Luxurious Events! Where MAGIC is the only energy I strive for! I started my company on September 20th, 2020 while working my regular 9-5 and being a stay-at-home mom due to our pandemic. As time had slowed down for all of us, it showed me how much I craved to express the creative energy inside of me! My purpose in life is spreading good energy & bringing joy to those around me! And that is showcased through my passion for all things party and balloon art-related! I discovered this skill years ago by planning my wedding, gender reveal, baby shower, birthday parties, holiday get-togethers, you name it! I would do it all by myself for fun and discovered I was a natural at it! So after taking a leap of faith, Over the Moon & Under the Sun Luxurious Events was born! I’m so excited to see my business grow and learn to build on my skills along the way as I spread joy with my balloon art all over our wonderful city of San Antonio!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No successful journey has a clear path! We have to have bumps in the road to learn and grow and luckily all my bumps have been tremendous growing experiences! I’ve been so blessed to have wonderful clients & opportunities to make my business reflect my values! There is nothing that can stop me and every experience as a chance to get better!
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
So I am what the events industry labels as a “Balloon Artist”. I create balloon decorations for various types of parties and events including everything from birthdays to corporate events! Hence our name “Over the Moon & Under the Sun”. We service all types of parties “Under the Sun” and leave our clients “Over the Moon” with joy! So far I’ve created amazing and unique balloon garlands, balloon walls, arches, columns, bouquets, YOU NAME IT! My special secret is creating a visual mock up design of my balloons on a design software for my clients before we move forward, to show them what they could get when they book with me! I love to take the details they provide, combined with my creative freedom and leave my clients fully satisfied with my balloon art!
What was your favorite childhood memory?
Ironically enough, my absolute favorite memory as a child has to be when my mom threw me a surprise party for my 13th birthday! She worked so hard to keep it a secret because I was clueless and it was my one and only surprise party that was ever successful pulled off ! I remember she took me out of the house that day to run her daily errands as usual and when we got home and walked inside I was shocked to see so many dear family members and close friends screaming “SURPRISE!” I burst into happy tears and felt so much gratitude for all the effort they put in to make my day one to remember. I felt so loved and special that it truly holds the number one spot as my favorite childhood memory to this day. That memory definitely keeps the passion for bringing that same feeling as my 13th birthday to my clients at every event!
