Hi Norma, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Self-taught painting artist, I started painting landscape oil paintings, took some private lessons, later, started painting with acrylics. In 1998, I was contracted to paint my first restaurant wall murals, my reputation as a muralist grew, and my work became very well known, I normally was scheduled a year in advance.
Word of mouth grew more and more, so I have done residential and commercial for 23 years with regular high customer reviews. I love to paint murals it’s my real passion. I do not paint in one style but multiple styles and with different media. I am so grateful to all the wonderful clients that have trusted me and have given me the opportunity to work for them
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The latest struggle has been being affected by Covid like everyone else is being kept away from my clients for a few months, but things are going back to normal, so I am excited looking into a bright future of mural work.

Being adaptable in the mural world is very important, decorative fads also affect mural business styles, colors and designs are constantly changing, it’s important to be updated with the times to keep up with customers’ demands.
