Meet Kimberly Cook of All Living Things

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kimberly Cook.

Hi Kimberly, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I truly didn’t aspire to be a business owner! I’ve always had a love for plants but late one night in 2017, The Highest spoke to me, to grow a business to teach my people how to love, grow and care for plants. That instantly struck fear, worry, doubt. But then, I was given the foundational scripture Psalms 145:16 “You open your hand and satisfy the desire of every living thing” and from that point, I haven’t been afraid to move forward.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I don’t believe anything worth having will be easy, so this process has been far from smooth. With not having a true “mentor”, I have had to find out a lot of things on my own or with my circle of business friends. Perseverance has to be the name of the game, through the good and bad just keep pushing.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?

Also, hosting an event called “Plant N Sip” for the ultimate date night, girls or guys night out where you will be able to create your own Succulent Arrangement, Sip on your favorite beverage, and network with other great individuals!

So, there are many things that set All Living Things LLC apart from others.

Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
It is vital to growing a network of business owners to connect and share with. To have a circle around you that is able to empathize with what you may be going through as an entrepreneur is a great feeling. Finding a mentor as well as a hard task but very rewarding in the end, to find someone who has been where you’re trying to go and can help you over the speedbumps.
