Hi Brittany, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Hi! I’m Brittany, the owner of Bespoke Aesthetica. I am always inspired by aesthetics and symmetry in nature, and have always been health and beauty-focused myself. I have an innate drive to push myself and become the best that I can be. Perfectionism also runs in my blood, and all these qualities combined have led me to open Bespoke Aesthetica. Helping others achieve confidence in their physical qualities is something very important to me because I believe our appearance is a reflection and representation of who we are on the inside.
Nonsurgical aesthetic treatments can bring confidence and joy to a person and are not shallow in the slightest in my opinion. Everyone wants to be the best that they can be and I love helping others achieve that goal. Contrary to popular belief aesthetic treatments can be a way of showing self-love; when you are confident in your appearance you are able to embody your true self and live life to the fullest. I decided I wanted to open a Medspa and Permanent Makeup Clinic while I was deployed with the national guard in 2019.
Before then I had been having a bit of an identity crisis, because so many different things interest me and I have worked in many different fields: Photography, fashion, IT, etc. But one thing I am always drawn to is a natural beauty that surrounds us every day. I have a passion for beautiful things whether that be taking photographs, interior design, or self-improvement. This all came together into my passion project: Bespoke Aesthetica.
Due to being inspired by nature, my main inspiration is the Fibonacci Sequence, or the golden ratio. My logo, the ammonite, is a natural example of this ratio in nature. When you walk through the doors you will see many ancient ammonite fossils within the studio. I am drawn to beauty in its natural state, and as such my work is a natural and hyper-realistic style that will leave everyone guessing. Subtly and sophistication are at the heart of what I do.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Opening a business on your own is always going to have its unique challenges, but perseverance and a will to simply not give up can take you many places in life.
More than once your brain will tell you: just give up, you’re going to fail, no one will care. But ignoring the voice in your head is the first key to success. Being an introvert, I also have to constantly overcome my soft nature in order to enforce both healthy boundaries and to not get overwhelmed by the constant exposure of new people.
Pushing myself in this area has led to both immense personal growth and growth within my business.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I specialize in hyper-realistic permanent makeup, including nano brows, scalp micro-pigmentation, and lip blush. In addition to PMU, I also perform scar/stretch mark treatments, hair loss treatments, red light therapy, and anti-aging treatments such as plasma fibroblast and mesotherapy microneedling among others. These are all treatments that can both restore what has been lost due to age or injury, as well as create a new look for you.
I believe in a holistic approach to beauty and consider many different factors when discussing your goals for your appearance. No cost is spared when it comes to my equipment, and I use the highest quality machines and equipment in order to give the best result possible. Ensuring the long-term integrity of both the skin and your internal health are all considerations that affect how I treat each individual person. Health and longevity are at the core of everything I do.
Preventative treatments are just as, if not more, important than corrective treatments, and I always recommend everyone start considering their long-term aging goals. It is my firm belief we can age both gracefully and beautifully.
We’re always looking for the lessons that can be learned in any situation, including tragic ones like the Covid-19 crisis. Are there any lessons you’ve learned that you can share?
Bespoke Aesthetica was started amidst the beginning of COVID-19, and many challenges came with it. The delay in my opening to ensure the safety of everyone was stressful but necessary. It helped me to sharpen my patience, perseverance, and fortitude.
During the quarantine, I went to great lengths to remodel the spa in a way that truly represents who I am as a person. My style is a combination of Tuscan and modern Mediterranean, consisting of many elements found in the natural world. Being surrounded by beauty lets my creative nature flourish and I can create art with ease.
If my spa was not aesthetically beautiful, I would not be performing to my full capacity and it would be disingenuous to my true self.
