Hi Kailah, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Hi, my name is Kailah Delpit. I run a small business called Perfk9. It was first made in 2019 as a teenager with a passion for animals but specifically dogs. I love helping people and I love seeing the results of a trained dog. It’s not as popular as I would like it to be but with hard work, and determination; one day I’ll make it one day. I am also in the process of making my own business selling homes but I’m still getting those licenses as well. My two passions will come to life and will change my life but for now I will just enjoy it and the small clientele I have. Thank you so much!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I’m still not where I wanna be with my passions. The struggles I have is wondering when I’ll be popular or wondering if this business side a will ever change my life. I get discouraged a lot and lack the process of it. I will still keep working at it as much as I can to build the life I want.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am unemployed looking for employment for now until my business takes off. I help people build a business from the ground up, I make digital products, I love to cook, and other creativity that will take up this whole text box.
Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
If you want to become an entrepreneur, Do it! Don’t let social media, your friends, family or anything or anyone stop you from it. It’s better to just do it and fail than to not do it at all. Even if you fail, get up and try again. Make your dreams come true and most importantly, have fun with it.
