Hi Adriana, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Phil and I started FlowerBomb as a working photography and film team. True florals are quite costly and we saw a big divide between those who could or couldn’t afford. Those who couldn’t were stuck DIYing or buying cheap and often ugly looking faux floral options. We saw an opening in the market for those who needed a more affordable price than live florals, yet still wanted a gorgeous look. Plus, it is so easy on those throwing the events!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Finding out which color schemes would be the most popular and who our target clients are was definitely a big obstacle. We were right on some of our estimates and quite off on others!
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Phil and I own Khalil & Co. which has been a trusted wedding vendor for over 10 years. We offer photography, videography, hair, and makeup services along with our new baby, FlowerBomb Rentals. While we encompass many different segments, we are all about what is best for our clients. We never push our services on anyone. We simply ask what is needed, understand their vision, and execute from there.
I am really proud of our ability to provide an incredible experience for our clients. We truly give each and every client our attention and treat each event as the unique experience they are. Our exceptional customer service makes us unique.
So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
Truly listening to each client and educating them. Most people don’t throw large events very often. Instead of just nodding our heads and saying yes, we offer real life advice and true care when we take on an event.
