Hidden Gems: Meet Yitzchak Pierson, REALTOR® – eXp Realty LLC, New Braunfels, Texas

Today we’d like to introduce you to Yitzchak Pierson.

Hi Yitzchak, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My path into real estate was anything but traditional.

I originally became interested in real estate investing, not sales. Around 2018, I reached a point where I knew I needed to completely change the direction of my life. I had spent years working in manufacturing while struggling with unhealthy habits, and I realized that if I stayed on the same path, it was unlikely to end well. I started looking for a career that offered purpose, growth, and the opportunity to build something meaningful. Real estate kept coming up as the most logical option to me, so when the pandemic changed many of my plans in 2020, I decided to get my real estate license. I believed that changing careers would create opportunities I couldn’t yet see.

My background also shaped who I am today. I grew up in a highly restrictive religious environment and didn’t get a birth certificate or Social Security number until I turned 18. Like many people, I faced challenges early in adulthood and spent several years trying to figure out who I wanted to become.

The journey hasn’t been perfect. There were setbacks along the way, but I committed myself to personal growth, education, and consistency. I immersed myself in learning everything I could about real estate, mindset, communication, and serving people at a high level. Those principles became the foundation of both my business and my personal life.

Over the past five years, that commitment has allowed me to build a six-figure real estate business, earn recognition within my industry, and most importantly, help hundreds of individuals and families through one of the biggest financial decisions they’ll ever make.

I genuinely believe that real estate, combined with personal growth and development, changed and likely saved my life. It gave me purpose, accountability, and the opportunity to make a positive impact on other people’s lives. That’s what continues to motivate me every day.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Not at all. Like most entrepreneurs, there were plenty of setbacks, uncertainty, and moments where I questioned whether I was on the right path. Real estate is a business where you’re building trust, relationships, and a reputation from the ground up, and that takes time. There isn’t a shortcut.

One of my biggest challenges was learning that success isn’t just about working hard—it’s about becoming the type of person who can handle success. I had to develop discipline, improve my communication skills, become financially responsible, and learn how to manage both wins and disappointments. I’ve invested thousands of hours into education, coaching, and personal development because I believe that if I continue to grow as a person, my business will continue to grow as well.

The market has also presented its own challenges. I’ve built my business through changing interest rates, shifting inventory levels, and a constantly evolving industry. Those experiences have taught me to stay adaptable and focus on providing value regardless of market conditions.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
I’m a Broker Associate and REALTOR® with eXp Realty based in New Braunfels TX, serving buyers, sellers, investors, and families relocating to Central Texas. While I work with all types of clients, I especially enjoy helping people relocate to the area and guiding first-time buyers through the process with confidence.

What sets me apart is my commitment to education and service. I’ve completed more than 1,000 hours of real estate education, earned numerous industry designations, and continually invest in becoming better at my craft. I believe my clients deserve an advisor who takes their profession seriously and never stops learning.

My business has also evolved beyond just me. I’ve built systems and a support team that allow us to provide consistent communication and a high level of service throughout every transaction. Whether someone is buying a $200,000 home or a luxury property, every client deserves the same level of professionalism, attention, and care.

More than any award or recognition, I’m proud of the reputation we’ve built. I want people to know they can expect honesty, education, clear communication, and someone who genuinely puts their interests first. Real estate isn’t just about buying or selling a property, it’s about helping people make one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives with confidence.

Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
I wish I had understood sooner that success is usually much slower than people expect and much faster than it appears in hindsight. Everyone wants immediate results, but meaningful success is built through small, consistent actions repeated over a long period of time.

My advice is to become a student of your profession. Invest in education, find mentors who are doing what you want to do, ask questions, and don’t be afraid to fail. Every mistake can become a lesson if you’re willing to learn from it.

I would also encourage people to work on themselves as much as they work on their business. Your mindset, your habits, your discipline, and your character will often determine your success more than your technical skills.

Finally, don’t compare your beginning to someone else’s middle or end. Focus on getting one percent better every day. Those small improvements compound over time, and before you know it, you’ve built something that once seemed impossible.
