Hi Snap Chic, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Honestly, it all started pretty unexpectedly. My mom had sent me a video on Instagram of an artist painting live at a wedding and told me, “You should do this.” I immediately shut it down—I was like, there’s no way I’d ever paint in front of that many people.
At the time, I was focused on building my own art gallery and expanding my work into Miami. During that process, the gallery owner mentioned he was getting married, and something just clicked. I decided to step out of my comfort zone and offered to paint live at his wedding—just to see if I could do it and if I would even enjoy it.
That one moment completely changed everything. I fell in love with the experience—the energy, the emotion, and being able to capture such a meaningful moment in real time. I’ve been doing live wedding painting ever since.
