Meet Laura Gonzales of San Antonio

Today we’d like to introduce you to Laura Gonzales.

Hi Laura, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Hi my name is Laura I was born in Honduras the oldest of six children, low income family. I move to the U.S.A and 1985

with big dreams of one day return home and help my fellow Hondurans. we started the foundation in the middle of covid-

19. also we had two mayor hurricanes that devastated Honduras. we prayed and ask God for direction, we started aremiss

ion trip with $630 we help 36 families with fresh vegetables and groceries. Our mission is to share the love of Jesus by he

lping children and families overcome hunger and poverty. Today 5 year later, we have the Hunger relief every July.

we started a sponsorship program for low income children and also the children school ready program.

We have worked hard! We have raised money with family, friends and wholefoods market that believe in Our vision.my stra

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I worked the bakery department for the last 21 years with different companies.

my specialty is baking, cake decorating, management and take pride in my costumer service skills.

currently I worked for Whole Foods Market.

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
I’ll be early retiring at the end of year.

to work full time in the foundation.
