Today we’d like to introduce you to Lem Luck.
Hi Lem, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Learned how to read right before 3 years old, Spent majority of my childhood between San Antonio, TX and Tri Cities, Washington, grew up around both parents, known as a class clown in high school where I first started doing talent shows, getting into acting classes, after high school, music started to spark my interests, shortly after highschool, went to the Navy for 4 years (2 years active, 2 years reserve), started to sharpen my skills in music making (rapping, learning about tones and notes), started to look into possibly modeling, just to get my start somewhere in the entertainment industry lane, still with a foot in the workforce, dabbled with idea of being a IT major with ITT Tech, after the illegal affairs that went on with that institution, went to Southern Careers to become Billing and Coding Certified while also collaborating with a modeling company based out in Houston and still working on music with production help from 3D from St. Louis and Abstract on Da Boards from New York, finally coming to great space where I can release FMOF (fifteen minutes of fame) just before Fall 2026, I, Lem Luck will be the underdog/anomaly everyone will root for
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
There has been plenty of challenging moments, the split of my parents right before I turned 13, the passing of my grandmother and great grandmother within the same year (2004), being in the Military was just one big challenge on its own especially when you question authority, finding my niche in the employment while still being involved with and evolving with my sound and the everyday struggles of a starving artist, however, the obstacles make a more colorful story
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am a artist (rap/sing) and model, I’m currently putting this finishing touches on my project called Fifteen minutes of fame, FMOF, where it will be a series (3 to 5 projects) of EPs that are no longer than 15 minutes giving different songs that showcase my skill of rapping and sound. I am most proud of the work I put in to this project, I have a good feeling that the vast majority will enjoy this project once on downloading streaming platforms
Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
Finding a Mentor has its challenges, but once you understand yourself as a person and realize that you can’t just have a “yes man” around, you must have ppl around that push you towards greatness, it is very important to keep ppl around you can learn from
