Today we’d like to introduce you to Mark Englebrecht.
Hi Mark, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My story starts with giving as much as myself as I can, I started as a streamer on the platform Twitch, and on Youtube as well. The stories of my success can be summarized into the people I have in my life and how they have given me the push in the accomplishments in my life from my faith in God. my immediate family and those that have become family in the advertures I am currently on. Never let anyone tell you that you are not good enough, or that you are too old for anything!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Not everything has been smooth along the way, but with bumps and bruises those things will definitely heal over time. Some struggles that I have dealt with have been the divorce to my first wife, the financial struggles that came with that and eventuallly restarting my life all over again at a later stage in my life!
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Currently I am on many platforms as a streamer, travel vlogger, and content creator, because of this it has also afforded myself and my team the opportunity to start a organization feeding children in the Philippines as well as providing backpacks and school supplies to under-privileged families here in the Philippines as well! My current wife and I started an orginization known as Team Goodvibes about 2 years ago due to the typhoons that made many people go into the local evacuation centers here in Occidental Mindoro, what started with $20 we fed over 300 people in the shelter, this team was originally started with only 6 people at the time to help out with the cooking, packing, and delivery and now has grown in so many ways. Our recent event we were able to deliver over 100 backpacks, paper, pencils and many other items to a school located in the mountain region where the families do not have easy financial means as well where the kids have to walk to school over 5 miles in rough terrain everyday. This was through a donation we recieved from a company in the United States, because of these contributions it has helped in fillling the lives of people and the dreams of the children.
What makes you happy?
There is alot that makes me happy, like in the question before I really enjoy helping others through the blessings I have, I am even happier with the family that I have! My children and grandchildren are in the United States and I miss them more than anything, but I am also happy because they have been my lifeline as I went through the transition of starting my life over in another country, through my divorce, to my remarriage, I would not be in the situation I am without them! I am also thankful to my wife Mery Grace and my step-children Zanderr and Ziann as they are very loving and amazing to me! I am thankful and happy because of the team I have Lovely, Ehmjay, Tonz, Patt, Richelle, Ariel, Arnel, my neice Kirstein, Danica, Mikay, Jenessa, and Leah you have all been there through my ups and downs I love you all and am so thankful for the hearts you have and my success could not be accomplished without you all I love you all so much! I am also thankful and happy because God has brought these people into my life as well as the members of Cornerstone Community Church in San Jose Occidental Mindoro thank you so much! God is definitely a waymaker and willl continue to help me grow and this is what makes me happy in my life! Its not about money or the posessions we have in life but its the things you do with it that is a true blessing!
