Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I began my career in the beauty industry in 2013 as a professional makeup artist in San Antonio, leaving the world of Interior Design to pursue my lifelong passion for makeup artistry. Since then, I’ve worked extensively in bridal, commercial, and photography makeup, with my work published both nationally and internationally, including People Magazine. I’ve had the honor of servicing over 500 brides throughout the Texas Hill Country.
Driven to expand my offerings and deepen my expertise in skin health, I returned to school to obtain my esthetics license. After graduating in 2024, I opened Skin Ritual Studio, where I now provide luxury facials, professional makeup services, and private one-on-one makeup lessons. Located in Alamo Heights, my studio is centrally situated and easily accessible. I truly love what I do, and sharing that passion while helping my clients feel confident and cared for brings me immense joy every day.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Definitely not an easy path to become an entrepreneur. There are so many moving parts . I’m a mother of two who still worked providing wedding makeup and ran a household while going to esthetics school full time. I decided to open my own business right out of school which can prove extremely challenging. Starting with only a handful of clients is a big risk. However, I knew in my heart it felt right. So I took a leap of faith and opened Skin Ritual Studio in April of 2024! It’s grown faster than I could have imagined and I’m so very grateful.

I offer luxury facials that are results driven, extremely relaxing and infused with all the positive vibes. I’m known for my Ritual Reset Signature Facial. This is the “Everything” facial. The Cadillac of facials that I offer. I think my energy, details and touch sets me apart from others. I’m most proud of Skin Ritual being a safe place for all. Everyone is welcome and everyone deserves some R&R.

What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
I LOVE San Antonio. It has everything we need and nothing we don’t. So much wonderful food culture! I hate the traffic and I wish we could teleport! Haha.
