Hi Karene, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’ve been drawn to design for as long as I can remember, turning ideas into spaces that tell a story. I began working professionally in 2005, with projects spanning restaurants, hospitality, thematic environments, residential and commercial spaces, and environmental design. In 2018, I founded Soaring Phoenix Creative, a studio built on creativity, dedication, and collaboration.
I specialize in interior design, new construction and renovation, conceptual design, 3D design renderings, and space planning for both residential and commercial clients. Through years of hard work and the trust of clients, family, and friends, Soaring Phoenix Creative has grown into the design studio it is today, where every project reflects thoughtful design, careful planning, and a commitment to creating spaces that truly elevate everyday living.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Many people assume an interior designer simply selects fabrics and pillows, but the true role goes far deeper. At Soaring Phoenix Creative in New Braunfels, Texas, design begins with understanding how people live, including their routines, challenges, and vision for their home.
