Check Out Christian Ortivez’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Christian Ortivez.

Hi Christian, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Well, I started off being like most other kids doing dumb things making life hard on my parents, but after six kids, my parents are kind of done raising kids ended up finishing high school on my own from junior year onward And had to work hard and fight tooth nail for everything that I have That isn’t the end of the story though I was able to buy my home three years ago one of the top insurance producers across the country and be able to DJ in Ibiza Spain for tomorrowland on catamaran during sunset. The day before I had a peak moment as well where I got to meet my favorite artist DJ Tiësto randomly and it’s one of the pictures that I included. I was so starstruck I could barely get more than a few words out luckily, my buddy Juan who’s in the photo took charge and it was so funny. He goes up to him. Call him by his first name Tiësto just stops And he’s like I’m so sorry. I must’ve forgot your name. I must know you he was like no no you don’t know us, but we know who you are. Here’s my tattoo of Anjunabeats. We all are huge fans. We really love your music. We’re all from Texas here for tomorrow. Landon the Global Journey trip he just stopped and says all of you guys are from Texas and we were what were the odds and he was like I love Texas Texas one of my favorite places to be. Can I get a picture with y’all Just melted my heart that the godfather of EDM asked us for a picture. The reason I hit so deeply because this was all of my older brothers, including Adam our favorite artist we all listen to the in search of sunrise CD on repeat all of the songs they used to have this little green spaceship CD with all these different top trance songs on it and that’s where I heard the Tiësto remix of a canine song which is also another one of my favorites along with adagio for strings. I love his newer stuff. Everything he does. I love It’s hard not to feel close to my brother Adam. I listen to his music. from there, coming back home i continued to be in the insurance industry, but spent more of my time and focus I’m trying to re-establish myself in a way here to create that moment for others from behind the decks on the other side on the dance floor, I’ve come to understand that there’s a lot more to just partying. You can party with purpose. Give people an opportunity to have fun after Covid so many folks messed out on the best times of their life being locked in their home And forced to be with each other in an amount that most people would go insane unless they really enjoyed their company. I still DJ and spend a lot of my time working on music and production but these days my focus is on the promoting and keeping people safe along with location scouting and being on the front lines even though I’m one of the people that host the event. I’m also gonna be the guy you see out and about walking around giving out water bottles, making sure people are OK taking 20 minutes worth of time for those that are seeking deeper connection and just spreading the message of love specifically that this world is that much more special because you’re in it. Truth is i wasn’t always this way. I used to be very hardheaded and mean and treat people that loved me very badly, but after losing my brother in prison, without getting the chance to say goodbye, things became abundantly clear, even though the message may not have changed his life for his outcome. At least I would’ve found the right words to say that means the most so now I do that as much as possible for others by means of which I call Sidequest giving people an opportunity to live a real life RPG game thought of what you would see in the fantasy movie or if you’re a gamer Final Fantasy Going to different locations talking to different characters having to remember certain riddles and sometimes just being on the right place at the right time making sure that those that need love having a really tough time to have a really really great night and be reminded that there’s good people in this world and that people do care about them And it’s a wicked good time either way super funny super interesting of dressed up as Scooby Doo a Dungeon-master official costume from 1980s just like in the TV shows Mr. me six a full-blown professional movie quality Alf outfit with the dead cat well fake dead cat and now the future is taking me in a direction to open a nonprofit that actually helps people instead of only donating the bare minimum which I believe is somewhere between 3 to 10% and then you could just claim your 5013C and avoid as many taxes as possible, which is why the wealthy elite stay wealthy in the common man has a hard time but that’s a whole different conversation December 6. I’ll be hosting an event at the five dollar spot just outside of Canyon Lake to help bring them to the next chapter beautiful venue, grateful folks and we’re taking 50% of all of our ticket sales from both campers and folks just coming out for the night and giving those proceeds directly to the venue the five dollar spot I plan on doing this at many small businesses all across San Antonio and here soon. I also make sure to keep things very affordable. I work extremely hard to keep the price point for someone to come out and have fun as close as I can to $20-$30. I remember what it’s like to make not much more than minimum wage and I want folks That have a good heart regardless of income to be able to have a really good night with their friends and not have to worry about being in a safe environment. I’ll also be starting employer group benefits where nine out of 10 times I’ll be able to offer better insurance at a lower cost for small businesses 50 people or less I never thought that they become a point in time where I could just be myself be a good person put my best foot forward even though I got hurt and burn many times and now I’m in a place where I’m gonna be able to continue to do a lot of good and bless a lot of other folks and have plenty left over to take care of family and I things are going really good now and it took 7 1/2 years of busting my butt with very little to no recognition to be able to get the opportunity to bust my ass for three months 12 to 16 hour days and completely change my life. I was pretty comfortable for a good majority of the time and now I realize that the future is looking to wear I can’t help imagine what comes next other than I know it’s gonna be great.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I spend my time for my day job as a Medicare insurance broker helping those 65 years and older those disabilities find coverage that works with their doctors and prescriptions and make sure that they’re taken care of for the wedding so we know it’s very rewarding and I know that My is being there for folks helping them. I’m just being a healthcare advocate. It’s not just selling someone’s insurance policy. It’s being there if they Need help with the insurance company starts giving them a hard time their medication’s aren’t covered what to do who to talk to what to say would have the doctor do how to look into alternatives how to find out if those alternatives are even covered and if they say no how to get your best chance of getting them to say yes and how many times you can appeal for coverage I’m sure you can tell I’ve been doing this a while almost 10 years. It just comes down to treating people like people slowing down and making a connection to find what they actually need if you can help them help them. My. Igor’s and weekends are mostly a spent being a festival/ club/ underground Dj. most folks when they book me either wanna hear my super heavy unreleased bass music mixed with House music or unreleased techno edits, or unreleased uplifting Biggie Smalls with Leso with the dash of Porter Robinson yeah it’s pretty wide variety that I like to make because I really enjoy the music but most of the time I get booked for ripping tech house techno and it makes me laugh. My buddy Sonny Roberts recently brought me on with the known like to call dance music because it gets the people dancing and moving when we Deejay the Texas Renaissance fair the entire pirate ship, which is technically a land ship since we drove through the entire campgrounds in a big circle and back was rocking and swaying from side to side, and never thought that I would ever be able to go sailing on the high seas here in the states to be honest with such a peak moment. My American version of tomorrowland. Who was only after we were driving home did it hit me? I was able to pull a crowd so thick that people were lined up all the way through the trail way turn the boat into 360 stage with a massive amount of people that I quite truly understand That we just Deejay the biggest Renaissance festival in the country and crushed it.My favorite thing to play which I don’t get booked often or asked to play this, which is why I prefer opening sets upscale club environments, and sunrise sets because I get to play what I call healing music such beautiful wonderful house music that’s uplifting and fun and you can dance. You could still party to it if you want to, but you’re getting a beautiful message of loveand each and every song theirs is And each and every song there’s a line from no captain by Laney where it says you never have to worry you don’t have to tell me how you’re different. You don’t have to tell me how you’re the same. All you have to do is love me and that’s the way to make me stay just such wonderful beautiful messages that even while you’re having fun or some people are a little late there’s something beautiful happening and uplifting of the heart at the soul elevating consciousness it’s not just hippie talk we’ve come far away and foreign enough with knowledge to know that Tesla was right if you think about things in terms of energy vibration frequency, you’ll understand the laws of the universe. Music is a frequency if you can attach a beautiful message, which is essentially Thought combine with emotion driven by either motivation, inspiration positivity there’s a lot of different emotions to it. There’s something that happens there that I don’t even think the English language can capture but what it does is it makes it to where when people go through hard times and they choose to listen to music instead of do anything else that would be considered harmful to him There’s something more powerful there other than people realize . Even if they don’t figure it out now it’s giving them the opportunity to and that’s the beautiful thing about music cause it never gives up on you. It’ll be there for you as many times as it needs to be.Other than that, explained everything on the first question.

i’m being honest most of my life changed as soon as I started listening and watching and paying attention to Brian Traci nine hour Phoenix seminar, which is free on YouTube. I was just feeling so unmotivated and down and stuck and just feeling like what’s the point I came across this is the perfect time and they gave me a blueprint actual comprehendible deep understanding on how to achieve what I want and if I’m being honest, I only made it to about chapter 8 or nine. I can’t imagine my life will be like once. I’ve finished all of them. There’s a couple of other folks that I would say the two most impactful things John Oliver From the daily show tonight he ended up losing one of his children and so did one of the CNN broadcasters that was interviewing him and he has a line in there that says is not God’s greatest challenges not God’s greatest gifts and he looked at him hidden interior I said do you really believe that and he said yes, sir I do cause here’s the thing about life if you are truly grateful for life, I mean truly grateful because you don’t have to be and most people aren’t you have to be grateful for all parts of life not just some of it the other line which if you Google some of this, but I’m about to say you’ll be able to find him I forget his name but quit living life your own life like you’re not the main character so many people are sorry for living their own life trying to be out of the way or scared to ask and put themselves in positions for more thinking to themselves. I don’t deserve more. You deserve. There’s more than enough out there for everyone in the moment you quit living your whole life in the backseat and you take charge and you start living your own life, like the main character that you are and realize one thing that you can’t be controlled anything that you can think of anything you put your mind to anything that you desire if you work hard manifest see your future, just like a runner or Olympic athlete that runs the race in their own mind for stepping out onto the field and one extra thing that I’ve come to the understanding of as a dream curator the fastest way to make your own dreams come true is to help those around. You make their dreams come true first.
