Today we’d like to introduce you to Meagan Foster.
Hi Meagan, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Well it kind of found me.. When I was 22 years old, working at Verizon Wireless in Alabama, a coworker casually told me she was buying a house. I was like, “Wait, we can do that?” I asked her how she made it happen and she shared her contacts with me. I followed up, found a house I loved, and bought it. Little did I know it would become one of my first rental properties.
After that, I explored a few different industries, trying to figure out what felt right. Then about ten years ago, I moved to Texas, and that’s when everything started to come together. One day at Starbucks, I randomly met a man named Alex. That conversation ended up changing my life. Alex became a mentor and guided me through the ins and outs of the industry for several years.
Today, I’m on my own and loving every minute of it. Whether I’m educating first-time homebuyers, helping sellers navigate the market, or negotiating and protecting my clients while they’re under contract, I truly enjoy what I do. I take my role very seriously because I believe owning a home or being able to leverage an asset like real estate is one of the best and most empowering feelings in the world!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road. Every sale is different, and that’s part of what makes real estate both challenging and exciting. I’ve worked on listings ranging from mobile homes to luxury properties to new construction, and homes with complicated issues like mechanical liens, divorces, and probate cases.
There were times I felt completely thrown into the deep end, especially early on. But now I am honestly so thankful for those moments because they taught me how to stay calm, figure things out, and be fully prepared for whatever comes up. Those struggles have shaped me into the agent I am today and have given me the tools to guide my clients with confidence through just about any scenario.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a full-time REALTOR® serving the San Antonio areas New Braunfels, Boerne, Schertz, and Cibolo. I specialize in helping families buy and sell homes with confidence- especially first-time homebuyers who want a clear and stress-free experience. My focus is on education, communication, and creating a smooth process from start to finish and even after the sale, I am always a call away!
Q: What are you known for?
I’m known for my genuine care and personal touch. My clients often tell me they felt truly seen and supported through every step. I’m not the type to rush a sale. I take time to understand each client’s goals and make sure they feel confident in every decision. I believe real estate isn’t just about homes, it’s about helping people build a better future.
Q: What are you most proud of?
I’m most proud of the trust my clients place in me and the relationships that continue long after closing day. Knowing I’ve helped families achieve something as meaningful as homeownership, especially those buying for the very first time, it is deeply rewarding. I am known for treating my clients like family. I genuinely care about their wellbeing and want to protect their best interests every step of the way.
Q: What sets you apart from others?
What sets me apart is how I blend market expertise with empathy. I approach real estate with both strategy and heart while staying on top of market trends, negotiations, and contracts. My goal is always to make people feel at ease, informed, and empowered throughout the process. I find myself my clients like family and look
Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
Real estate has been an interesting ride lately. It’s a wave, and we have to learn to move with the tide. San Antonio continues to grow rapidly ( as we all can see lol) with new roads, communities, and shopping centers reshaping the landscape. Our population continues to expand and home values will likely eventually rise again, though we are seeing natural ebbs and flows, of course. The areas that were formally considered “far out” are becoming more viable which makes these areas more desirable and I understand all of these changes come with both good and pains..
I have enjoyed witnessing certain improvements bringing communities closer together over the last 10 years of living here and supporting our local businesses is one of my favorite things to do.
