Exploring Life & Business with Yuliana Martinez

Today we’d like to introduce you to Yuliana Martinez.

Yuliana, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
We started our journey as a couple with a clear vision but very limited resources. When we got married, we were earning less than $2,600 a month and had to rebuild from the ground up. What drove us was a deep desire to create a life of purpose, freedom, and impact — not just survival.

Our first business, Chabod Cleaning Services, started out of necessity but quickly became our foundation. It taught us discipline, consistency, and leadership while allowing us to build something that provided opportunities for others as well.

Later, we founded Ocassio, an immigration consulting company that began by helping students pursue educational opportunities in the U.S. — a mission deeply connected to our own personal journey. Over time, it evolved to serve professionals and families through processes such as the EB2 National Interest Waiver and other immigration pathways. Ocassio represents our belief that everyone deserves access to new beginnings and a chance to grow their future.

All these experiences led us to create Andrés mas Yuli, our mentorship and community brand. Through it, we guide entrepreneurs who, like us, are starting from zero — helping them build businesses grounded in purpose, service, and strategy.

Our story isn’t one of overnight success; it’s one of resilience, faith, and the courage to start small while dreaming big.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road.

Before building what we have today, both of us went through moments of complete loss — individually and as a couple. I had gone through a divorce that left me starting over financially, and my husband had to leave his family home with nothing but a motorcycle and a spot in a university dorm. We both knew what it felt like to rebuild from nothing.

When we got married, we started with very little. We literally slept on the carpet for a while, lost our car, and worked multiple jobs just to keep up with rent. For a season, that old motorcycle was our only transportation — and we made it work, even with my sister living with us as an international student at the time.

It would have been easy to quit — to stop chasing the dream and settle for a “normal” life. Honestly, we tried. We applied for jobs, looked for stability, but nothing opened up. And that’s what changed everything. We didn’t persist because we were strong or brave — we persisted because there was no other option.

That season taught us resilience, faith, and the power of staying when everything tells you to give up. Every setback became a lesson, every loss became a seed — and from that, everything we’ve built today was born.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about We have 3 Business ?
At the heart of everything we do is one mission — to serve, to create opportunity, and to help others build a better life, no matter where they’re starting from.

Through our different companies, we’ve built an ecosystem that reflects that purpose.
Andrés + Yuli is our mentorship and community brand, where we help entrepreneurs — especially immigrants and first-generation business owners — build service-based businesses with purpose and strategy. We focus on real, practical growth: helping people turn their ideas into income while creating impact through their work.

Ocassio is our immigration consulting company, born from our own story as immigrants. We started by helping students find educational opportunities in the United States, and over time, we’ve expanded to serve professionals and families through processes like the EB2 National Interest Waiver and other visa categories. What sets Ocassio apart is our empathy — we’ve been in our clients’ shoes, and we know the emotional and practical challenges of starting over in a new country.

Chabod Cleaning Services was our first business, the foundation that taught us everything about leadership, systems, and excellence in service. Today, it continues to grow as a reliable cleaning company that serves clients across multiple states with consistency and integrity.

What sets us apart is that every one of our brands was built from lived experience — from seasons of loss, faith, and rebuilding. We don’t just teach theory; we live what we teach. We’re most proud that our brands represent transformation — proof that no matter where you start, with faith, service, and commitment, you can build something extraordinary.
