Stephanie and Arianna , we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
At first it all started as a joke. We decided to make flower bouquets just for fun for just family. We then realized that we actually liked making them and felt like it brought us closer as cousins so in February 2023 we decided to make a business out of it and just see how it went.
In the beginning since there wasn’t many floral business we had no guidance at all which made it a little difficult for us and also because we were so young so we had no resources. At first we would make bouquets for just close family and friends and as time went by we slowly started to get recognized by others! There’s definitely challenges that come with it and we were so young many people doubted us in a way and at times we would even rethink the business and if it was even worth it. However, although many doubted us we took it as a way to just get better and proof them wrong.
This year was definitely one of our most successful years because we were able to meet more people and grow our business but we definitely are very thankful for those who have stayed with us since the beginning and those who have been patient with us.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely has not been a smooth road for us because although we do have an amazing support system our personal life’s can get very hectic specially being at such a young age and still trying to manage school,work and a business
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
We sell flower bouquets also known as “ramos”. Something that we feel sets us apart from others is the fact that we are perfectionist and like our work well done and like bringing people’s vision to life.
Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
We took the risk of creating a small business at 15 and 16 years old without thinking of how far we would get.
