Hi Eva, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Photography has been part of my life for over 21 years. What began as a creative outlet during my corporate career eventually grew into a true calling. Leaving the corporate world to pursue photography full-time was one of the most terrifying—and most rewarding—decisions I’ve ever made.
What started as a side passion has grown into a full-time business rooted in intention, artistry, and emotional connection. Today, I operate a 1700-square-foot commercial studio in San Antonio and specialize in luxury family, maternity, newborn, child, and senior portraits. I also offer branding and headshot sessions, as well as beauty sessions designed to celebrate and capture a woman’s essence, confidence, and strength.
Every session is thoughtfully crafted to reflect the client’s story—we provide couture gowns, custom sets, and a guided, personal experience that ensures each person feels seen and celebrated. From documenting a mother’s glow to the tiny details of a newborn, to creating powerful portraits for entrepreneurs and women stepping into their next chapter—I’m passionate about honoring the beauty in every season.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside many families through their most meaningful milestones—from maternity to newborn to first birthdays and beyond. I also love working with high school seniors, capturing who they are in this once-in-a-lifetime season.
As a wife and a mother to a blended family—most of whom are now adults with just three teens and a college student still at home—I understand how quickly time passes. That perspective shapes everything I do. I approach each session with empathy, creativity, and care—because these aren’t just photographs. These are stories, legacies, and fleeting moments frozen in time.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road—but I believe the challenges have shaped the depth and intention behind my work today.
One of the biggest struggles early on was trying to position myself as a luxury brand in an industry flooded with shoot-and-burn photographers—those who offer quick, low-cost sessions and hand over digital files without much guidance or quality control. It was hard at times to explain the value of a personalized, full-service experience, but I stayed committed to my vision: creating timeless art, offering exceptional service, and building something lasting for my clients.
Another challenge was finding balance as a young mom. I started this journey when my children were still little, and I felt the constant tension of wanting to give 100% to my family and 100% to my clients. I had to learn how to honor both without compromising the integrity of either. It meant being intentional with my time, creating strong systems, and learning to grow at a pace that allowed me to stay present with my children while still delivering a high-end experience to my clients.
Over the years, I’ve navigated the ups and downs of the economy—times when luxury spending slowed, and I had to adapt while still protecting the heart of my brand. I’ve spent countless hours researching, testing, and sourcing the right products and vendors to align with the level of quality I promise my clients. That part took time—finding artisans and partners who care as much about excellence as I do.
None of it has been easy—but all of it has been worth it. These challenges pushed me to refine my business, deepen my purpose, and build a brand that’s truly aligned with who I am and the clients I love to serve.

We specialize in family, maternity, newborn, child, senior, branding, and beauty photography—and what ties them all together is my commitment to offering an experience that’s deeply personal, carefully curated, and emotionally meaningful.
What sets my studio apart is the level of service and attention to detail we pour into every step of the process. We don’t just schedule a session and show up with a camera. We plan, we dream, we customize. There’s something incredibly powerful about helping a woman step into her confidence—whether she’s rebranding a business, launching a new career, or simply wanting to reconnect with her own sense of beauty and identity. These sessions are about so much more than just a pretty photo—they’re transformational.
Ultimately, I want readers to know that this is not just a business—it’s a calling. My work is about honoring life’s most meaningful seasons, capturing the love and light within them, and creating heirloom-quality artwork that will be cherished for generations.
What matters most to you?
Faith, family, connection, and legacy—those are the things that guide everything I do, both personally and professionally.
My faith gives me purpose and perspective. It reminds me that this work is bigger than me—it’s about serving others and using my gifts to bring light, beauty, and meaning into people’s lives.
My family is my anchor. As a mother to a blended family with teens and adult children, I understand how fast time moves and how precious each season is. That awareness is woven into every session I photograph.
Connection is at the heart of my business. I don’t just take photos—I build relationships. I want my clients to feel seen, celebrated, and supported from the moment they inquire to the moment they hang their images on the wall.
And legacy… that’s what this is all about. Whether it’s the quiet sweetness of a newborn session, the fierce pride of a graduating senior, or the confidence of a woman stepping into her next chapter—these aren’t just photos.
