Today we’d like to introduce you to Cecilia Jones.
Hi Cecilia, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I have been in photography for as long as I can remember. My dad was a photographer and owned his own studio, as well as, he ran a company for many years. He took photos and partnered with ballet studios, schools, etc, I would model for him a lot and he eventually passed the torch to my two older brothers, and around high school, I developed an eye for it and would assist him, and pose the individuals he would shoot, then he gifted me my first camera and oh I would go crazy capturing all the photos!! Now, I really enjoy doing it, capturing memories, and just being creative. It’s a way I can make people happy and freeze the memory for them! It’s a blessing.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I think it’s overall been a smooth road, however, I do feel that it can get rocky if I don’t manage my time well! But overall, it’s a joy and it’s been a great experience.
We’ve been impressed with Capture these photos , but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am a photographer, I enjoy capturing precious photos of memories for others. I am mainly part time but do enjoy photography and it’s been such a pleasure working with amazing people.
What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
I have the gift of making others feel beautiful and confident through my lenses of the camera! They trust me, they took time to work on all the details of their outfit, now I get to capture it all and show them their beautiful self.
