Daily Inspiration: Meet Saoire Duffy

Today we’d like to introduce you to Saoire Duffy

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My journey as an artist and storyteller started in Ireland, where I was born, but it truly took shape after moving to Boston. Growing up in the city, I was surrounded by street art, music, and the vibrant mix of cultures that defined each neighborhood. I spent a lot of time in places like Copley Square and “The Pit” at Harvard Square in Cambridge, where artists, misfits, transients, and those struggling with addiction gathered. These spaces became my classrooms—where I learned about resilience, expression, and the raw honesty of human experience.

Art was always an anchor for me. Whether it was photography, painting, or writing, it gave me a way to document the world around me and connect with people on a deeper level. Over the years, I worked with at-risk youth, individuals in recovery, and adults with developmental differences, blending my creative passions with advocacy and education.

In 2015, I founded Studio E90 in Boston as a way to channel everything I had learned—about storytelling, art, and human connection—into a media business. It began as a creative outlet but quickly grew into a space for visual storytelling, branding, and artistic collaboration.

Years later, when life reached a breaking point, I made a promise to myself: I would leave Boston and finally go after the life I truly wanted. No more waiting, no more excuses—just going for it. When I relocated to Texas, I brought Studio E90 with me, evolving it into a platform for collaboration, creative services, and artistic growth.

Through photography, videography, branding, and design, I help individuals and businesses shape their narratives, while also creating opportunities for artists to connect and thrive. The path hasn’t been conventional, but that’s exactly what makes it meaningful. Studio E90 is the culmination of that journey, a promise kept to myself, and I’m excited to see where it leads next.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Studio E90 was built through years of hard work, sacrifice, and navigating some of the toughest moments of my life. One of the biggest challenges was balancing my responsibilities while trying to move forward. At one point, I was taking care of my grandmother while being displaced myself, struggling to find stability, while living with a chronic illness. There were times when it felt impossible to keep pushing forward—when exhaustion, financial struggles, and uncertainty made me question everything. But through it all, I held onto my creative vision. Art, photography, and storytelling were not just passions; they were survival. Studio E90 became my way of processing the world, documenting experiences, and building something that felt meaningful.

Starting over in a new state was another challenge. Leaving Boston wasn’t just a change of location—it was a complete reset. I had to rebuild my life, establish my business in a new place, and adapt to an entirely different environment. But that promise I made to myself—to finally go for it—kept me moving.

Despite the struggles, every hardship shaped me into the artist and entrepreneur I am today. The obstacles weren’t just roadblocks; they were lessons in resilience, adaptability, and the power of storytelling. Studio E90 is a reflection of that journey, and I wouldn’t change a thing.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
At Studio E90, I specialize in capturing the raw energy and artistry of music events, directing music videos, and bringing creative visions to life through photography and creative direction. My work is deeply rooted in storytelling, whether it’s through dynamic event coverage, conceptual creative shoots, or visually compelling music videos.
I’m best known for my battle rap photography and music video direction, where I focus on preserving the intensity and emotion of the culture. I am also well known for my social activism and photo journalism – being present within the heartbeat of the city, and showcasing our humanness in the most authentic way possible. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to document underground and mainstream artists, capturing moments that might otherwise go unseen.
One of my proudest accomplishments has been my work with HoopHop, a nonprofit basketball tournament that brings together athletes and artists to support community initiatives. I’m also incredibly proud of my collaborations with Greeen Life Music Group LLC, a partnership that has allowed me to merge music and visual storytelling in exciting new ways.
While music and creative projects are my specialty, Studio E90 is about more than just the arts—it’s about capturing life in all its forms. From birthdays to pet photography, maternity shoots to weddings, I love documenting the moments that matter most. Whether it’s an intimate family gathering, a milestone celebration, or a portrait session with a beloved pet, I bring the same passion and attention to detail to every project.
What sets me apart is my ability to blend documentary-style authenticity with artistic vision. I don’t just capture moments—I create them, ensuring that each project has depth, emotion, and a strong narrative. Whether it’s a live performance, a conceptual shoot, a birthday party, or a once-in-a-lifetime event, I approach every project with a deep respect for the story behind it.
For me, Studio E90 isn’t just a business—it’s a movement. It’s about giving artists, families, and communities a platform to tell their stories in a way that’s powerful, authentic, and visually unforgettable.

We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
For me, success isn’t about wealth, recognition, or external validation—it’s about alignment. It’s about being in tune with the spirit realm, honoring my purpose, and walking the path I was meant to walk. Success is the feeling of knowing I’m creating, serving, and moving in harmony with something greater than myself.

I measure success by the way I listen to my intuition, the way I trust the signs and guidance I receive, and the way I stay true to the creative and spiritual forces that move through me. When I create something—whether it’s a photograph, a video, or a piece of art—and I feel that deep sense of knowing, that’s success. When my work resonates with others on a level beyond just visuals—when it stirs something in their soul—that’s success.

Success is also about connection. It’s the way I honor the people, energies, and ancestors that have shaped my journey. It’s in the relationships I build, the stories I tell, and the impact I leave behind. If I can move through this life with integrity, creativity, and a strong relationship with the unseen world, then I know I am successful.
