Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Hi! I’m Cachis! I was born and raised in San Antonio and never really thought of my city being that interesting. That was until I started looking to buy a home and I knew there was a possibility San Antonio would no longer be home. So I decided to explore my city as if I were a tourist. I discovered many unique local businesses that add to the many cultures which are located in San Antonio! My mission since then was to not only support local businesses but to share them with others who may not have explored their city that they were born and raised in like me and to help make it easy for people who are visiting or moving to San Antonio to find all the cool hidden gems it has to offer!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Trying to create content definitely has its ups and downs. For me, there is genuinely so much to do in San Antonio that I feel like I cannot keep up. There are new businesses opening up every week! I still plan to visit them all to share with my viewers, to support, and to experience and enjoy! The cool thing about creating content is that there is an audience out there for everyone. So even though I know there are plenty of other people creating similar content, I also know there is space for us all to grow in our own unique way!
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a micro content creator who posts local spots in San Antonio and surrounding areas! I currently focus on food and coffee spots but I have also included local book stores and plan to include local stores and plant shops. I would eventually like to expand to traveling content and more! Most of the videos I make include voice overs informing my viewers about the place, the vibes, and what I liked.
