Hi Janet, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My love for design and color theory led me to flowers about 13 years ago when I started helping with family and friend weddings. During COVID, I deepened my passion by taking online floral design classes, and in 2022, I officially opened my business. Since then, I’ve been helping brides and planners create beautiful, memorable events! In 2023 we designed and built our signature floral cart and have been renting it out for events and parties ever since!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t always been a smooth road. Balancing family life with the demands of weddings and events can be challenging — especially during peak seasons when the schedule gets hectic. But finding that balance has taught me how to stay organized and be present, both with my family and my clients. It’s a constant learning process, but the joy of creating beautiful moments makes it all worthwhile.

I specialize in wedding and event florals, focusing on creating beautiful, seasonal arrangements that reflect each couple’s unique style. My designs are known for their natural, organic feel — blending color, texture, and movement to create something truly special. I’m most proud of the relationships I’ve built with my clients and the trust they place in me to bring their vision to life. What sets me apart is my personalized approach — I really listen to my clients and work closely with them to make the process easy and enjoyable. Plus, my floral cart adds a fun and interactive touch to events, giving guests the chance to create their own bouquets and take home a little piece of the celebration. It’s not just about the flowers; it’s about creating an experience that feels effortless and memorable.

What matters most to me is creating meaningful connections — both with my clients and through my work. Flowers have a way of making people feel seen and celebrated, and being part of such important moments in someone’s life is truly special. I want my clients to feel supported and understood throughout the process, knowing that their vision is in good hands. It’s not just about the flowers; it’s about creating memories that last long after the flowers fade.
