Rising Stars: Meet Yanneth (Neo) Giraldo of San Antonio, Texas

Today we’d like to introduce you to Yanneth (Neo) Giraldo

Hi Yanneth, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
The story of what I do today began when my husband heard a teacher talking about a cutting machine at our son’s school. He looked it up on the Internet and knew I had to have it. Two days later it arrived at my house as a gift. Since then, crafts began to reach another level and I discovered a whole world of materials and beautiful things to do with that machine.
I wanted to personalize everything in the house, clothes, kitchen utensils, my son’s school supplies, decorate the bathroom, the car and everything that passed through my hands.
Among all the personalized things I made for myself, my friends and family, a balloon came into my hands and since then I have not stopped personalizing them.
People started to get interested in what I was doing, I received orders from friends of my friends, so I decided to create an Instagram account, I learned a lot, I did research, I trained and I have been able to create many emotions through my balloons and personalized gifts until today.
I currently have a big community on social media, I give online courses on how to personalize balloons and I offer my personalized products as a different and unique option to celebrate any occasion. It has been a process of great dedication, learning, patience, perseverance and passion.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
When you want something you have to work for it, and that takes a lot of time and effort, so I think being consistent and disciplined is the hardest part of creating a business from scratch at home.
At the beginning everything has its challenges but with the passage of time you learn to handle obstacles and gain experience. It’s all part of the process and I’m happy with what I’ve achieved.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
At Neoemotions I personalize balloons and gifts for all occasions. I make unique and different gifts that create emotions and memories in those who receive them. These gifts are full of love, they are handmade with different techniques and materials.

I transform latex balloons, bubble balloons and foil balloons into arrangements where I include decorative details in
high-quality paper, prints, ribbons and all the necessary material to make the gift a totally personalized experience.

These balloon arrangements can be accompanied by natural flowers, tumblers and cups, candles, chocolates, drinks and nuts, among others. Everything carefully arranged and structured according to the selected design.

I love that people are surprised with the things they like the most and that it is not a gift that can be bought in a store.

I am so happy to do what I like and to create emotions in people. I am proud to help empower women who want to start their own business from anywhere in the world through my online courses.

My work is different because it is not mass produced, it is made with great detail and dedication. They are gifts full of intention and whoever receives them feels loved and recognized.

Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
My message is for all women who want to generate income from home without sacrificing time with their families. That message is to believe in yourselves, believe in your ability to do different things, don’t put yourself last and always do what makes you happy.
