Today we’d like to introduce you to Carlos Jaramillo
Hi Carlos , thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I worked for a print shop for 6 months in las cruces New Mexico, but got laid off in the end of 2021. The company i worked for went out of business. I offered to buy their printing equipment. They said yes and even shipped me and the equipment to San Antonio. So here i am new city and i didn’t know anybody so no customers. Before i moved i was setting up at art markets back home so i decided to do the same and signed up for some art markets. I would sell my art and offer my services. Business started growing from there. I’m blessed to be in such a supportive community that keeps me busy.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
At first it was tough not knowing anyone and having zero customers.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I specialize in custom stickers but also offer banners, custom shirts, custom pins and more.
Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
Being Creative and always willing to learn and expand my business.
Being able to adapt. Doing custom work every job is different so that keeps the day to day work interesting.
Having passion for what i do has really helped with the success of my business. I love what i do and i can spend the whole day working and it not feel like it.
