Today we’d like to introduce you to Wendy Kephart
Wendy, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
To be honest I was never interested in photography growing up, but life has a way of taking unexpected turns. In July of 2024 my dad passed away, grieving and depressed, my husband suggested I find a hobby. Not too long afterward he gave me my first camera. I soon found photographing nature and landscapes therapeutic during this time. As time progressed, my skills did as well and I fell in love with my Canon camera. Soon I discovered that capturing happy moments between families and couples to be truly fulfilling as well. What started out as a therapeutic exercise has become a full fledged job! I’m so grateful for the support of my dear friends and family and I look forward to what the future holds in store!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has definitely been a learning process! Trial and error! I’ve learned to take charge, speak up, and get out of my comfort zone. Confidence is key in this industry and being shy will hold you back.

I love being a photographer and capturing candid moments. Being able to photograph a memory that can bring you back to that feeling is priceless.
There isn’t any one particular photoshoot or photo I’m most proud of because every person and memory is beautiful in it’s own way.
Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
My husband has hands down been the most supportive while on this journey. He continues to cheer me on and encourage me to go on improving.
