Today we’d like to introduce you to Raven Jimenez
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My passion for photography started as a hobby when I became a mother. I love creating memories that last forever. I refer to my business as the buffet of photography, capturing a little bit of everything from newborns, family, fur babies and more! As a photographer you see things from different perspectives and get to use your creativity to bring a photo alive and bring emotion to it. Nothing makes me happier then hearing how much joy it brings to my clients.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Having your own business is never a smooth ride, it is challenging to get your name out there, with so many talented photographers it can definitely be difficult. I just see that every year I gain more clients and a lot of my clients have been with me for many years and for me that is a win.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m the owner of Raven Nicole Photography! I specialize in portrait photography but shoot a little bit of everything! I love being able to use my creativity to bring emotion to my work. I’m most proud of making my clients fall in love with their photos. I love connecting with my families and having fun with their sessions!
Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
My advice is to just keep going, even when you’re not booking many sessions don’t give up. If you’re passionate about it, have faith in your abilities.
