Meet Jeffrey Quizhpi of Innovations Realty Group powered by REAL BROKER LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jeffrey Quizhpi

Hi Jeffrey, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I grew up in Elizabeth, NJ, where life was rough—it wasn’t the suburbs, and you had to work hard just to get by. Those early experiences shaped my resilience and drive, qualities that came in handy when I joined the military as a 13B Cannon Crewmember (artillery). Serving in the Military taught me precision, discipline, and how to handle high-pressure situations. It was a demanding but rewarding experience that shaped who I am today.

After being medically retired from the military, I earned my trucking license and spent some time on the road before life shifted again, and I became a stay-at-home dad with my daughter. That time helped me reflect on what I really wanted to do, which eventually led me to real estate. I got my license in March 2020, right before the world shut down. Starting a new career during a global pandemic wasn’t easy, but I stayed focused, worked hard, and built a reputation for getting results.

Today, I’m known for closing deals quickly and making sure my clients get the best outcome. I understand the needs of buyers, sellers, and military families, and I know how to navigate the San Antonio market to make things happen. Outside of real estate, I’m committed to my community, volunteering with organizations that support military families and local charities. In my free time, I enjoy traveling and spending time with my small growing family, my oldest daughter my youngest son a new son on the way and my wife

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It hasn’t been a smooth road, but that’s what makes the journey worthwhile. After being medically retired from the military, I had to figure out my next steps. I earned my trucking license, but after being let go, I shifted gears again and became a stay-at-home dad for a while. That time helped me reflect and focus on what I truly wanted to do, leading me to real estate.

Starting in real estate wasn’t easy. I got licensed in March 2020, just as the world was shutting down. It was a tough time to start a new career, and I had to quickly adapt. The pandemic made things uncertain, and there were moments when I questioned whether it was the right decision. But I stayed focused, learned fast, and kept working hard.

Things didn’t get any easier when interest rates skyrocketed, shifting the market and making it harder to close deals. It created new challenges, but it also taught me to be more strategic and creative. Even though it was harder, I learned to adapt and find ways to get deals done.

The road has been full of bumps, but every struggle has taught me valuable lessons and helped me grow. Today, I’m thankful for those challenges because they made me stronger, more adaptable, and more driven to succeed.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Innovations Realty Group powered by REAL BROKER LLC?
My business is built on personal experience—the kind that shows me exactly what a client needs and deserves. When I purchased my first home, my family and I worked with an agent who was more focused on her commission than on helping us find the right home. It was a frustrating experience, and it opened my eyes to a different side of real estate—one where clients are treated as transactions rather than people with real needs and concerns.

Then, with my second home, I worked with an agent who lacked communication and left us feeling out of the loop throughout the entire process. That was another eye-opener. I realized that the real estate experience could be so much better if there was a focus on communication, transparency, and, most importantly, putting the client’s needs above everything else.

Those experiences shaped the way I approach real estate today. I’m not here to make a sale—I’m here to provide value, support, and a smooth, stress-free process for my clients. Every step of the way, I prioritize clear communication and a hands-on approach to ensure that my clients feel informed and supported throughout the journey. I make it a point to understand their unique needs and work with them to find a home that fits their life, not just their budget.

What sets me apart is that I learned from the mistakes I faced as a client. I know how frustrating it can be to feel unheard or undervalued. That’s why I treat every client like family, giving them the attention and respect they deserve. In a world where many agents are driven by commission, my focus is on delivering a service that truly serves my clients’ best interests.

Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
Risk has been a constant in my journey, and I’ve learned to approach it with balance. One of the biggest risks I faced was being forced into medical retirement from the military. It was an unexpected challenge, but I had to push through to support my family, even without a clear path forward.

Another major risk was diving into real estate in March 2020, right as the pandemic hit. The timing was uncertain, but I chose to move forward and adapt. It was tough, but I learned a lot and grew stronger in the process.

I also took the risk of going back to school for a marketing degree. I told my wife it would be too easy, and she signed me up to prove me wrong. Balancing school, family, and business was tough, but it taught me valuable lessons in time management and discipline.

I believe in calculated risks—those that push me to grow while considering the challenges ahead. Each risk has taught me resilience and the importance of stepping outside my comfort zone. To me, the biggest risk is not taking any action at all.
